Christmas Shopping Cart

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a Christmas themed Slimline card I created recently.

A while ago I purchased the Add to Cart Collection designed by Becky Roberts for Spellbinders, I finally found some time to create a card using some of the dies and stamps included in the collection. The collection includes four die sets ... 3D Shopping Cart; Shopping Bags; Shopping Cart Holiday & Presents and Shopping Cart Party On! The stamp set is called Shopping Bag Sentiments.

I originally had planned to make a silver shopping cart, but my glue wasn't cooperating with the glossy surface and the rain, so I opted for a red one instead. The shopping cart has the option to be made in two different width, I ended up making both sizes as I wasn't sure which I needed. I decided to use the narrower shopping cart for my card. 

I die cut two small shopping bags using the dies from the Shopping Bags die set. I white embossed the "Sale" and "Super Sale" sentiments from the Shopping Bags Sentiments stamp set to the front of the bags.

The tree in the back of the cart is from the Shopping Cart Holiday & Presents die set.

As you can see, I created a Slimline card placing the shopping cart to the bottom of the card. I added the Stacked Merry sentiment from MFT Stamps to the top of the card and then added the "Christmas" which is from the Bitty Holiday Sentiments also from MFT Stamps.

For the inside of the card, I added a strip of the patterned paper I used on the front of the card to the right edge.

I added the Christmas sentiment which is an older Hero Arts sentiment I had in my stash.
