Riley Rocks!

Well it is that time again! Today starts the beginning of the sneak peeks of the new Riley stamps that will be available from Riley and Company this coming Thursday 24th March. This release will bring with it 8 new Riley/Sophie images and 6 sentiments.

For my first sneak peek this week I have used the new Rock Star Riley … don’t you just love him!!!!!!!!!!! There are two new sentiments that work well with this image, the one you see on the front of my card and the other you will see on the inside below.

Here on the inside of my card I used the other sentiment to be released along with Rockin’ Riley again.

For my second project today I used Tooth Fairy Riley, isn’t she a cutie! I picked up a few of these fun photo frames recently at a scrapbook store and I thought it would make a fun little tooth holder for those little ones who are wanting the Tooth Fairy to visit. The tooth can be placed on either the front or the back of the frame, and then the Tooth Fairy can leave the money in the same place or underneath if it is notes. Not having the Tooth Fairy visit for sooooooo long I have no idea how much she leaves these days.

Here is the back of my frame, I found the verse over on Splitcoast Stampers and just changed it a tiny bit to suit my project.

Here is another view of my project so you can see the depth of the frame. BTW I added the pearls around the frame.

What’s In the Box?

Hi everyone,

Recently I finally got to make one of these fun boxes because it was a project my friend Trish planned for the club project for our February club day.

I have been wanting to make one of these forever and even though I was scheduled for some surgery the day before the girls from the club arranged to come to my place just in case I couldn’t drive to Trish’s place so I wouldn’t miss out. Thanks girls

Here the cupcake opens up to reveal a sentiment. I used a new sentiment I purchased a few weeks before this class.

Here is what was in my box …. a cupcake made from a face washer. Of course you could have anything inside the box.

I think our girls at this club are obsessed by cupcakes, because this is the second project in a row we have done that included a cupcake LOL … wonder what this month’s project will be LOL!

Another St Patrick’s Day Card!

Hi everyone and happy St Patrick’s Day to You!

It is challenge time over on the Alota Rubber Stamps blog. This week it is my turn to host the challenge. As it is St Patrick’s Day I decided to challenge everyone to include green on their card project.

It’s also time for another challenge with my friends CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our hostess Joanne Grzelak, challenge us to a St Patrick’s Day themed challenge too. We had to use a cutie patootie (critter or person) wearing something green. Green didn’t have to be the main color, but as you can see I decided to go green!

I used this cute Irish Bug from Alota Rubber stamps for my card. What could be better for St Patrick’s Day then an Irish stamp right!

I used a recent CAS sketch for the layout of my card FTL129.

I haven’t used this cute Pirate Cooper stamp in a while and as I love pirate stamps figured it was about time I did again .

Hi everyone,

I am back again today with another MFT card to share with you. This time for this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS.

This week I used the MFT Stamps Fred Bear - Oopsie Daisies to create my card. I just love this image!

I changed my card from a rectangle to a square so I had plenty of room to fit all the elements I needed to add from the sketch.

On the outside of my card I used three MFT Die-namic dies:

• Die-namics Say What Die & Stamp Set
• Die-namics Dizzy Border
• Die-namics Butterflies

Here is the inside of my card, I stamped Fred Bear and one of the sentiments from the set. I also added the Die-namics Dizzy Border along the top portion of my card.

For my card I used a recent sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketches. I also added some spica markers over the ruffled area of the girls skirt and sleeves.

I used two MFT Die-namic dies on the front of my card, these are the Die-namics Musical Notes and Die-namics Little Open Scallop Strip. I added some Pink Sorbet Twine around the bottom of the card.

Here is the inside of my card, the sentiment and Margarita Glass are both from the WTG – Fiesta stamp set. I also used three Die-namic Dies …. Die-namics Musical Notes; Die-namics Little Open Scallop Strip and Die-namics Say What Die.

I am back today with another MFTeaser of the new à la mode stamps which are to be released by MFT Stamps tonight.

Today the MFT Design Team are featuring the à la mode You Mean The World To Me stamp set. I just can’t get enough of the à la modes.

For my card I used a recent SCS sketch challenge. I used the MFT Die-namics Say What Die for my sentiment.

Here is the inside of my card, using another of the sentiments in the set. The sentiment is actually a long one but I cut it apart so it would fit inside the circle of the Die-namics Sweet Stack Labels die.
