A Little Bird Told Me!

Hi All!

It’s Day 4 of the MFTeasers and I have one more Teaser to share with you! Today the MFT Stamps Design Team are featuring more of the new sets that are to be released by MFT Stamps on Tuesday 4th October.

The sets being featured by the Design Team today are “Contempo Cage Die-namic & Stamp Set” and “Bon Appétit Die-namic & Stamp Set”.

For my first card I have to share with you today I used the Contempo Cage Die-namic & Stamp Set. I die cut the cage in black and then layered this to a piece of designer paper which I cut around the shape of the die. The bird is also die cut from designer paper and then inserted into the cage. I used the Die-namics Postal Stamp border where the two designer papers meet.

For my sentiment I used the new Die-namics Oval Tab die, but I trimmed it down to fit my sentiment. To find out how easy it is to cut your Die-namic Tab dies to suit shorter sentiments check out Joanne Basile’s awesome video which you can find here. Joanne calls this technique cut and recut and is super cool!

Here is the inside of my card. I used two of the sentiments from the Contempo Cage Die-namic & Stamp Set. I also die cut another bird, used the Die-namics Postage Stamp Border and the Oval Tab for my sentiment again this time keeping it it’s original size.

For my second project today I used the Contempo Cage Die-namic & Stamp Set and the Bon Appétit Die-namic & Stamp Set to create this cute Test Tube Holder. You can find a tutorial on how to make these over in the resource section of SCS.

The tag is created from the Bon Appétit Die-namic & Stamp Set and the bird and swing is from the Contempo Cage Die-namic & Stamp Set.
