Eastertime Gift Set

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have an Easter themed card and treat holder to share with you today, using stamps from Divinity Designs February/March release.

For my card, I created a Peek-A-Boo card using Divinity Designs Peek-A-Boo Card with Layers die set. I decorated the panels using papers from Spring Flowers 6 x 6 paper pad.

The lambs and sentiments are all from the new Lamb of God stamp set. The sentiment on the front of the card is layered using the Ovals and Double Stitched Ovals die sets.

When the card is closed the view from the oval opening is the standing lamb. As you open the card another layer starts to appear through the oval.

When the card is full opened, the original image is replace with something different. In this case a lamb sitting on the grass with a sentiment above it.

To accompany my card, I created a milk carton treat holder using the Milk Carton with Layers die set. I again used papers from the Spring Flowers 6 x 6 patterned paper to decorate the sides of my milk carton.

I added the lamb sitting on the grass to the front of the card using Circles and Double Stitched Circles die sets to layer.

Out of this World Peek-A-Boo Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a card using the Peek-A-Boo Card with Layers die set from the Divinity Designs February 2021 Release.

I have been having lots of fun playing with this new die set. Having the dies definitely makes easy work of creating this style of card. For my card today I have created a space theme using the Rocket Man Stamp/Die Duo set.

Here is a quick video to see my card in action.

In the photo above you can see how the second image is starting to cover the image that we saw when the card was closed.

I used papers from the Landscapes Paper Pad for the layers of the front and inside of the card. I figured with some imagination, that those fireworks could resemble stars or comets etc out in space.

Here you can see my card fully open and the second image replacing the the alien.

One final photo of my card taken from overhead, so you can see how the card works.

Divinity Designs February 2021 Release

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing three cards I created using new stamps and dies from Divinity Designs February 2021 Release. This month Divinity Designs are releasing 1 stamp set and 3 die sets including an interactive card die and a Slimline die.

For more inspiration using products from the new release visit the Divinity Designs blog.

For my first card today, I have created a Peek-A-Boo card using the new Peek-A-Boo Card with Layers die set. This is such a fun interactive card, when you view the card when it is closed you see an image or sentiment through the oval opening. When you open the card a different image or sentiment shows through the oval.

Here is a quick video to see my peek-a-boo card in action.

For the layers of my card I used papers from the Star Shaker Kit - Patriotic Paper Pad which is one of the new Slimline sized paper pads included in the January 2021 Blessings Box.

I used stamps from the Shine Bright Stamp set to add the image and sentiments on the card.

The sentiment on the front of the card is stamped on one of the tags from the Mini Tags die set.

In the photo above you can see how the sentiment is starting to cover the image that we saw when the card was closed.

Here you can see my card fully open and the sentiment replacing the lighthouse.

One final photo of my card taken from overhead, so you can see how the card works.

For my next card, I created a Slimline card using  the new Slimline Rainbow & Clouds die set and the Rainbow of Hope stamp set.

To create the Slimline card I used the Slimline Card Base; Slimline Rectangles; Slimline Curvy Slopes along with the Slimline Rainbow & Clouds mentioned above.

I also used the cute bunnies from the Somebunny Stamp/Die Duo sets.

For the inside of the card I added another of the sentiments from the Rainbow Hope stamp set. I layered the sentiment to the card base using the Slimline Rectangles and Slimline Scalloped Rectangles die sets.

For my final card today I created an A2 Card using the A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer and the Matting Rectangle.

For this card I used the A2 Rainbow & Clouds die set, which is the same as the Slimline version just sized to fit an A2 card.

I die cut a yellow circle to add a sun to the top of my card.

Along the bottom of the card I added clouds using the Cloud Borders die set. I added a sentiment from the Rainbow of Hope stamp set.

For the inside of the card I added another rainbow, using some of the colored cardstock pieces leftover from making the rainbow on the front. For this one I mored the order of the colors up one.

I added another of the rainbow sentiments included in the Rainbow of Hope stamp set.

Peek A Boo Slimline

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing an interactive slimline card with you that I created recently.

This card using the new Lawn Fawn Small Slimline with Lift the Flap and Large Slimline with Sliders die sets. I die cut the Lift the Flap die from white cardstock and then applied color to the panel using Catherine Pooler Daydream ink. I then used the Taylored Expressions Puppy Love Stencil to add the paw prints in brown and the hearts in white.

I layered the decorated panel onto a brown cardstock and then used the large stitched slimline die from the large die set for the base of the card.

I used the Mama Elephant Zodiac Dogs stamp set to decorate the flaps etc.

When you lift the flaps it reveals puppy balloons, bones and sentiments. The sentiments used here are from The Ton's Easy Expressions Birthday stamp and coordinating die sets.

For the inside of the card I added a narrow stencilled panel along the bottom of the card. I added another of the dogs and the puppy balloon to the right hand side of the card.

I also added a birthday sentiment to the centre of the card.

Winter Village Peek-A-Boo Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I have a fun Christmas themed card to share with you all.

Hero Arts have a number of fun Peek-A-Boo stamps and coordinating dies, and over the last couple of years I have acquired a few of them. When this adorable Winter Village Peek-A-Boo stamp & the coordinating Circular Peek-A-Boo die became available a few months back, I just had to add them to my stash.

I stamped the Winter Village Peek-A-Boo stamp onto white cardstock and then colored in the image using Copic markers. Once I had finished coloring, I then used the Circular Peek-A-Boo die to die cut the image. This die cuts 24 little doors which can be opened on the lead up to Christmas, a little like an Advent Calendar.

You can see the doors a little bit better in the photo above.

I  die cut another rectangle the same size as the Winter Village Panel, and then another of the Circular Peek-A-Boo panels.

I cut off each of the doors to the second Peek-A-Boo panel, and layered this over the white rectangle. I then used this as a guide to stamp sentiments and images from various Christmas themed stamp sets. There are too many to name, but I have listed most of them in my supply list below.

Once I have finished all the windows. I adhered the colored Winter Village Panel to the stamped rectangle panel. I then adhered this to a top folding white card.

For the inside of the card, I used the Crafter's Companion Edge'ables - Believe die/stamp set, which I adhered to the bottom of the card.

Peek-a-Boo Birthday

Hi everyone,

Today I am sharing a Peek - a - Boo card I created. I have been wanting to try of these cards for ages, and recently I was checking my blog reader and saw someone else's card with link to instructions and as I didn't have anything else I needed to do I figured it was time to play.

If you want to learn how to create this style of card, you can find a tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers.

For my card I used stamps from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps .... Birthday Lulu.

When the card is closed you see the birthday girl in her pretty party dress.

Once you open the card another image covers the first one and reveals the birthday girl holding her presents.

Here is the card fully opened.

Here is an overhead view of the card so you can see how it works! I did end up putting a thin strip of tape to the very edge of the right side of the back layer which helps keep the back part of the card from flapping open.

Stamps: Birthday Lulu - Kraftin' Kimmie  Stamps; Happy Birthday - Lucy's Stamps
Paper: White; Purple; Embroidery DP - Kaisercraft
Dies: Oval Nestabilities; Labels 10 - Spellbinders; Celebration Season Header Fold Die - Tonic Studio
Other: Black Ink; Copics
