Hi everyone,

The Stamps of Life are releasing three new stamp sets today…. morepb&j2enjoy; trianglealpha4banners and scribbles2stamp.

Today I am featuring cards using the trianglealpha4banners stamp set.

For my first card I used a recent Mojo Sketch (mojo328) for the layout of my card to create a birthday card. The birthday sentiment is from the Brackets2Cut stamp set.

TSOLBabyBoy2Flip-wm

For my next card I created a baby card. For this card I have also used The Stamps of Life’s MiniOnesie2Cut stamp set and coordinating die as well as the Onesie4Baby stamp set.

As you can see this is a Flip-its card using the Sizzix Ornate Labels #2 Flip-its die and the Ornate Labels #5 Framelits die set.

Friends ‘Til Extinction

DinoPopUp1-wm

Hi everyone,

I have another pop up card to share with you today using the Pop It Ups Lots of Pops Pop-Up die set designed by Karen Burniston’s for Elizabeth Crafts Designs.

DinoPopUp-wm

First up the front of my card which was created using MFT Die-namics Zipper. I selected some designer paper that had dinosaurs on it so I created the inside of the card imagining what it might be like if the jumper/sweater came to life hehe!

DinoPopUp2-wm

For the inside of my card I decorated it using Paper Smooches Cutasaurus and one of the coordinating dies sets Dino 1. I added some length to the trees before cutting them out so that they would fit on the side pop up pieces.

The sentiments used on the bottom portion of the card is an older stamp set from Treehoue Stamps.

DinoPopUp3-wm

Here is one more view of my card this time at an angle so you can see some of the pop up pieces easier.

Here are the products I used to create my card:

Stamps: Cutasaurus – Paper Smooches: Prehistoric Pals – Treehouse Stamps
Paper: White; Red; Hey Boy DP – Rosie’s Studio
Dies: Lots of Pops – Designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs; MFT Die-namics Zipper; Paper Smooches Dino 1

Can You Dig It

C4C230Vege-wm

Hello everyone,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog.  Being a brand new month, it is time for a new challenge hostess, which is Joanne Grzelak.

This week Joanne has challenged us …. How does your vegetable garden grow?
It is about time for some to start thinking about gardening, whether it is just in the planning stages or involve actual planting. This week I’d like you to have a vegetable garden theme. This could include vegetables, gardening tools, seed packets, as well as vegetable plants or gardens
.

C4C230Vege2-wm

It has been a while since I have created a Centre Step card, so I decided to pull out my die and make one for this week’s challenge. I used a stamp set from Do Craft’s Pepper & Friends.

C4C230Vege3-wm

Here is the inside of my card, I used an old lettuce stamp from Penny Black and old sentiment I have had for a while.

    Rock a Bye Baby

    Cradle2-wm

    Hi everyone,

Today I am  playing with a die I received from a friend for my birthday recently. This is the Sizzix 3D Cradle die designed by Eileen Hull.

The longest thing about making this card was finding a baby to put inside the cradle. My friend and I search all over my local shopping centre without any luck and then my friend found one after she went home and came back for it … thanks!

    Cradle3-wm

To decorate the ends of the cradle I used Peel-Off stickers from Elizabeth Craft Designs. The butterfly is from the Lady Bugs Peel-off stickers set as are the dots. The border is from the Borders Ovals Peel-off stickers.

    Cradle-wm

Here is one more view of my cradle.

    Love Lives Here!

    KBLoveLivesHere-wm

    Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This month our challenge hostess is Kathy Bradley.

Kathy has challenged us to use 3 different stamps/digital images, a sentiment cannot be one of the stamps/images.

Well I have used more than 3 stamps to create my card this week. I had forgotten I had these little cuties, until I went looking in a bag I had some Whipper Snapper Designs unmounteds in. I thought they would be perfect to go with the new House Pivot Card designed by Karen Burniston’s for Elizabeth Crafts Designs. This is the newest die in the Pop It Ups collection, only being released last weekend … love love love!

The fence on the front of the card was created using the fence which is on the other part of the pivot on the house die (which you will see on the inside of the card.)

    KBLoveLivesHere2-wm

Here is the inside of my card. I added another fence on the left side of my card and also added two more kids. I thought the sentiment worked well with this card.

    KBLoveLivesHere3-wm

Here is a close up of the left side of the inside.

    KBLoveLivesHere4-wm

And this is a close up of the right side of my card. Don’t you love the little picket fence which is the pivot part on the right side. The sentiment is stamped using the Lucy Label Pop-Up card die.

    KBLoveLivesHere5-wm

And let’s not forget the back of the card too … you can see the picket fence peeking through.

Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

    TSOLPB&JStandUp2-wm

    Hi everyone,

Being the beginning of the month it is time for the April Club Stamp set to be released from The Stamps of Life. This time round the stamp set being released is called PB&J2Enjoy. If you are a member of the “Die Hard” club you will also receive the coordinating die set, otherwise you have to wait until the 20th of the month to order this set.

I have never tried Peanut Butter and Jelly (or Jam as we call it down under) … I love Peanut Butter and I love Jam but have never tried them together. I guess I am missing out big time hehe!

    TSOLPB&JStandUp3-wm

For my first card today I decided to use the stamp set and create a stand up card using the Sizzix Square Stand-Up card die. For the sentiment I used the Sizzix Decorate Framelits set.

    TSOLPB&JStandUp-wm

Here is my stand up card closed ready to be placed in an envelope.

    TSOLPB&J-wm

For my second card today, I have again used both the Peanut Butter and Jelly together to create a flat card (I don’t seem to make many flat/plain cards anymore Winking smile. This time round I used designer papers and paper pieced all the individual pieces.

    TSOLJellyFlip-wm

For my final card for today I used just the Jelly stamps to create a flip-its card. I used the Sizzix Square Flip-Its Card Framelits for my card.

    TSOLJellyFlip2-wm

Here is the “flip” side of my card I stamped one of the sentiments and the grapes.

    Friends

    PIU-FriendsGame2-wm

    Hi everyone,

Today I have a pop up card to share with you using the Lots of Pops Pop-Up die set designed by Karen Burniston’s for Elizabeth Crafts Designs.

Head on over to Studio Els on April 1 when the April issue of Scrapbooking.com Magazine is online. My Friends card is one of the featured projects.

Recently I have been playing with creating pop-ups using fun designer papers,, like this one which has the 4 children playing a game. The Designer paper is Scoreboard from Webster's Pages. It has certainly made me look at/for designer papers in a new way.

    PIU-FriendsGame3-wm

To create my card I started with the designer paper which I cut so that it measured 5.75"x 11.5". I folded the designer paper in half so it measures  5.75" square.

I placed the Lots of Pops pop-up die on the centre fold,  towards the left side of my card, so that the boys head that is on the bottom of the designer paper didn’t get chopped off. I love that with the new Pop It Ups dies we can decide where to position the dies on our card. As long as there is a fold then you can place it there.

I have also used the All Seasons Tree and placed this on the pop up piece on the right side of the pop up. I added grass which is in the Garden Bench Die set on 3 of the pop ups and the sentiment “friends” on the top pop up piece.

    PIU-FriendsGame4-wm

Along the top  edge of the card I used one of the edges from the Agatha Edges die set to create the fancy edge.

    PIU-FriendsGame-wm

Here is the front of my card. I kept this simple seeing all the action is on the inside of the card. The designer paper used here is the reverse of the designer paper I used on the inside. I love how the word “Game” which is printed on the right side of the paper was able to fit on my card. To finish off my card I added the blue flourish created using the Agatha Edges set.

Stamps: Sending Happy Thoughts – Hero Arts
Paper: White; Brown; Green; Blue; Scoreboard DP – Webster’s Pages
Pop It Up Dies: Lots of Pops Pop-Up; Agatha Edges; All Seasons Tree; Garden Bench Die – Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs
    Other: Black Ink; Rhinestones
