Happy Birthday
Hi everyone,
Recently I needed to make a card for my sister’s birthday … she loves elephants. I normally have a few I have made during the year, but for some reason I must have given them all away so I had to make another hehe.
I love making pop up cards so I decided to use the Lorna Label Pop Up designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Crafts Designs.
The elephant is an older Stampendous stamp I had in my stash. On the bottom rectangle pop up panel I added Happy Birthday using the Elizabeth Craft Designs Happy Birthday Stand Up Helper, I die cut this about 3 times so it was a thicker layer.
On the bottom of each edge I added a layer of designer paper using the grass from the Outdoor Edges Die Set as a border. I also added the label panels to use to write my greeting.
At the top of my card I used a Quotables die and stamped a sentiment.
Here is the front of my card. I added another of the elephant images. I also added another Happy Birthday layering the die in two colors.
Stamps: Elephant – Stampendous; Best Birthday Wishes – CC Designs
Paper: White; Pink; Bow and Arrow DP – Kaisercraft
Dies: Lorna Label Pop Up Card; Outdoor Edges – designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs; Happy Birthday Stand Up Helper – Elizabeth Craft Designs; Quotables – Paper Smooches
Other: Black Ink; Foam Tape; Copics

Yah! It’s Your Birthday
Hi everyone,
It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week Anne Harmon, brings us her final challenge for the month.
Our challenge this week is Sunglasses…… Now that the sun is directly overhead, we all need to be protecting our "peepers", right! Please make a card that uses sunglasses.
For my card today I decided to use this fun image from Suzy Toronto which I think is called Daughter in Law … it is a stamp I have had for a few years now, but i think this is the first time I have used it … oops I love it!
As you can see I turned my card into a Pop Up card using the Lots of Pops Pop Up set designed by Karen Burniston’s for Elizabeth Crafts Designs.
For this card I didn’t pop up any of the pop up pieces other than the main large one which the girls are mounted to, which you can probably see better in this photo above.
I also added two Quotable pieces to the top and bottom of my card and divided my sentiment between the two panels.
Here is a closer look at the sentiment panel at the bottom of my card. You can also see that I have randomly added some glitter dots to my panel.
And finally the outside of my card … I added a large speech bubble which I layered by cutting another speech bubble in a different color and then cutting apart so I could get a border peeking through. And for good measure I added another pair of sunglasses.
Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Friends Share Everything
Hi everyone,
It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Kathy our challenge hostess for April brings us her final challenge for the month.
This week our challenge is … April Showers (What does April Showers mean to you, i.e., flowers, weeds, mowing, sun, warmer temperatures, etc.)?
So when I thought about this question I thought about the obvious brings May flowers … I have flowers on the base of the inside of my card. Of course rain also makes that grass grow taller so it has to be mown again … so I include tall grass. If you are going out in the rain you might need an umbrella so you don’t get wet … so I have umbrellas on my designer paper on the outside and the girls huddled under the umbrella on the inside. And of course the rain … the designer paper on the upright part on the inside.
Here is the front of my card … I used umbrella designer paper, tall grass die and the quote for the sentiment.
As you can see I have created a pop up card using the Lucy Label Pop-Up set designed by Karen Burniston’s for Elizabeth Crafts Designs. For this card I only used the label part of the pop up leaving the smaller pop up at the top of the platform down.
Earlier this year I purchased the Art Impressions Under My Umbrellas Girlfriends stamp set, which of course I had to use on this card … I guess if you only have one umbrella you would have to share right!
I added some tall grass to the bottom of the card and at the top I used the Paper Smooches Quotables die for my sentiment … love this die. I also added some Gold/Silver Glitter Dots to the Quote bubble.
Here is one more look at the inside of my card, this time at an angle so you can see the pop up piece.

It’s A Girl!
Hi everyone,
I have Baby card to share with you today.
I received a couple of new dies from Paper Smooches the other week and of course I wanted to play … they are both Quote type dies (the Quote Tag on the front and the Quote bubble at the top on the inside).
Originally I was just going to make a quick baby card using the Quote Tag set and when I looked through my stash on my desk to see what I had that might fit in the open area I spied this cute Kaisercraft Elephant. Well it just so happens that one of the paper pads I recently got also had elephants on it so of course I had to make a baby card.
Of course by the time I had finished the outside of my card, the other Quote die was calling to me and my Pop It Up dies are always calling me LOL, so neither could be ignored so I decided to create a pop up card. I used the Lucy Label Pop-Up die set designed by Karen Burniston’s for Elizabeth Crafts Designs.
At the bottom edge of my card I added a panel cut using the Agatha Edges die and also the flourish from the same set.
Stamps: Elephant – Kaisercraft; Rectangle Greetings – Gina K
Paper: White; Pink; Dark Pink; You Are My Happy DP – Teresa Collins
Dies: Lucy Label Pop-Up; Agatha Edges designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs; Quote Tags; Quotables – Paper Smooches; Baby Phrase – PTI; It’s A Boy/Girl – Cheery Lynn Designs
Other: Black Ink; Pink Twine; Button; Foam Tape; Copics

I Must Ask You A Question
Hi everyone,
It’s challenge time again over on the Riley and Company blog. This time round it is my turn to host the challenge.
Our challenge this week is to create a CAS card.
For my card I used Riley and Company’s I moustache you a question and Moosestash Riley.
For the inside of my card I added two sentiments from the Moose Sayings 2. I thought these went well with the Question on the front of the card.
If you would like to play along with us of course we would love to have you! So get stamping Riley fans :).
Don’t forget to check out the rest of the Design Teams blogs today so see what they created for this challenge.

Friends ‘Til Extinction
Hi everyone,
I have another pop up card to share with you today using the Pop It Ups Lots of Pops Pop-Up die set designed by Karen Burniston’s for Elizabeth Crafts Designs.
First up the front of my card which was created using MFT Die-namics Zipper. I selected some designer paper that had dinosaurs on it so I created the inside of the card imagining what it might be like if the jumper/sweater came to life hehe!
For the inside of my card I decorated it using Paper Smooches Cutasaurus and one of the coordinating dies sets Dino 1. I added some length to the trees before cutting them out so that they would fit on the side pop up pieces.
The sentiments used on the bottom portion of the card is an older stamp set from Treehoue Stamps.
Here is one more view of my card this time at an angle so you can see some of the pop up pieces easier.
Here are the products I used to create my card:
Stamps: Cutasaurus – Paper Smooches: Prehistoric Pals – Treehouse Stamps
Paper: White; Red; Hey Boy DP – Rosie’s Studio
Dies: Lots of Pops – Designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs; MFT Die-namics Zipper; Paper Smooches Dino 1
Other: Black Ink; Foam Tape; Copics
