Adventure Awaits

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today we are taking a look back at Divinity Designs June Release, here is the card I created using the new USA Map die set and the Adventure Awaits stamp set. For more inspiration using the May Release and to see the other designers projects, be sure to visit the Divinity Designs Blog .

I die cut the USA Map from Red Cardstock and also from patterned paper from the Patriotic Collection Paper Pad. I then paper pieced the red map outline and the patterned paper states onto a piece of cardstock and then cut around the red outline.

This was then layered onto a card base that had woodgrain paper from the Weathered Wood Patterned Paper Collection that was die cut using the Double Stitched Rectangles die set.

I added a stamped sentiment from the Adventure Awaits stamp set and then added some die cut embellishments from the USA Map die set.

For the inside of the card I added another sentiment from the Adventure Awaits stamp set and added two more die cut embellishments.

Thanks for visiting my blog today, I hope you enjoyed my project.

I Love You So Much

Hi Crafty Friends,

t's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Lois Bak, our challenge hostess for the month continues to issue the challenges.

This Sunday (June 23) is National Pink Day. Easy challenge - make a pink card.

As I had recently ordered and received the new Altenew stencils that were released in May, of course I wanted to play with them. So this challenge was the perfect opportunity to pull out the Heart Builder Stencil to create the background of my card.

After created the stencilled panel, I die cut it using the second largest rectangle from the Heffy Doddles Metric Stitched Rectangles and adhered this panel to my card base adding a layer in-between.

To decorate my card I added circles to the lower left hand corner of the card and then added one of the cute bears from MFT Stamps Joyful Heart Bears Clear Stamp set. I added a sentiment also from this stamp set which I die cut using Honey Bee Stamps Banner Builder die set.

For the inside of my card I added more of the heart builder stencilled panels to the top and bottom of the card and used Karen Burniston's Katherine Label Pop-up die set to add the sentiment.

Here is another photo of the inside of my card so you can see the pop-up portion of the card a little better.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Sugar and Spikes

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have a quick birthday card to share with you all today.

This card uses the Art Impressions Hedgehogs stamp set which is such a super cute set. It is a combination of hedgehogs and cacti.

I die cut the left hand side of my white card panel using one of the scalloped borders included in MFT Stamps Stitched Scallop Basic Edges Die-namics.

I stamped the hedgehog and sentiment to the centre area of the white panel.

For the inside of the card, I kept to the same layout that I used on the front of the card. This time around I just stamped the hedgehog ... this could be colored by the recipient if desired and added a couple more sentiments from the stamp set.

Floral Birthday Wishes

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have another birthday card to share with you today.

This card uses the new Altenew Floral Garden Stencil. To add the color to the stencil images I used Distress Oxide inks. For the flowers I used Worn Lipstick and then came back with some Abandoned Coral and Picked Raspberry in selected areas. I then used Mustard Seed ink for the flower stamens and Twisted Citron & Mowed Lawn for the leaves.

The sentiment used on this card is one of the Crafter's Companion Edge'ables dies, which I die cut twice and layered over the floral panel.

To finish off the front of the card I added some pink gems randomly over the card.

For the inside of my card, I added the remaining floral panel to the lower portion of my card. I then added a sentiment using the Altenew Birthday Builder stamp set and one of the sentiment stamps from another Crafter's Companion Edge'able die sets.

Seaside Wishes

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing another beach themed card with you all.

For the beach background of this card I started by die cutting MFT Stamps Beach Scene Builder from white cardstock. I used partial die cutting on the area which is the sand, so that it could be taller than it normally would be. I then used the Palm Tree Border die from Lawn Fawn to create the curved portion at the top of the sand and also to add the palm trees.

I added color to each of the panels by adding distress oxide inks. I also stamped a ripple stamp I have had in my stash for years to the ocean at the bottom of my card.

The elephant images and other beach images all come from Mama Elephant's Summer Splash Clear Stamp set.

I again used MFT Stamps Beach Scene Builder Die-namics to create the ocean area at the bottom of the card and applied distress oxide inks for the sand and sky area directly to the card base.

The palm trees I added to the back panel are also from the Beach Scene Builder Die-namics. I added a few left over images that I had stamped/colored from the front.

I created the pop up sentiment using Karen Burniston's Katherine Label Pop-up die set adding sentiments from SugarPea Designs Seaside Wishes Clear Stamp set.

Divinity Designs June Color Challenge

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a card I created for Divinity Designs Color Combo Design Team Challenge. This month the colours to be used are Candy Pink, Daffodil Yellow, Lavender. For more inspiration from the Divinity Designs Design Team visit the Divinity Design blog.

For my card today I created a Tri-Fold Card using the Tri-Fold Card with Layers die set.

I used the papers from the Spring Flowers 2019 Paper Pad, that matched this color challenge along with the Bubbles Mixed Media Stencil. I placed the stencil over each of the papers, applying white pigment ink through the stencil and then covering the ink with white embossing powder and heat setting.

I die cut each of the papers using the layer dies included in the die set and adhered them to the card.

For the centre panel, I stamped the flower from the Grandmother's Heart stamp set coloring the image to match the challenge. This image was die cut using a square from the Scalloped Squares die set.

I used the Long & Lean Letters and the Long & Lean Numbers die sets to die cut the H B 2 U which I placed on the long vertical panels of the card.

Don't forget to check out the Divinity Designs Blog, so you can see what the other Design Team members created for this challenge.

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

Happily Ever After

Hi Crafty Friends,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Being a brand new month it is time to introduce a new challenge hostess which is Rebecca Ednie.

Being the third Saturday of the month, it is time for a sketch challenge.

For my card today I have created a wedding card using stamps and dies from Waffle Flower Craft and gold foiled papers.

I used Spellbinders A2 Curved Borders One to create the curvy edges on the card.

The bride and groom are from Waffle Flower Craft Wedding Day Clear Stamp set.

For the inside of the card I created a pop-up card using Waffle Flower Craft Cake Panel die and the doves from the Wedding Day stamp set.

I used the Spellbinders border die and the same papers I used on the front on the inside of the card.

Here is another photo of my card taken at a different angle so you can see the pop-up portion of the card.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.

Coffee Is A Hug In A Mug

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing another card using some of the new Divinity Designs products from the June Release.

I have created another Cascading Card using the new Cascade Fold Card with Layers die set.

To decorate my card I have used the Hug In A Mug stamp/die duo set.

For the various layers, I used papers from the Weathered Wood; Blushing Rose and Beautiful Blooms Paper Pads.

For the pink layers I used a plain pink paper from the Beautiful Blooms paper pad and then used the new Bubbles Mixed Media Stencil to add brown dots all over the panel.

I used the Circles and Scalloped Circles die sets to create the layers for the sentiment for the front of the card.

I added the "I hope this perks you up!" sentiment to the back of the card using the fishtail banner die from the Test Tube Trio die set.

This card folds flat so it can be placed in an envelope.

You're Sew ....

Hi Crafty Friends,

t's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Lois Bak, our challenge hostess for the month continues to issue the challenges.

Apparently today is Sewing Machine Day. So our challenge this week is to make a card which has some stitching on it – either actual stitching, faux stitching or stitch-edged dies.

Here is a quick video to see my card in action.

I needed a sewing themed birthday card for my friends birthday which is coming up at the end of the month, so that was the perfect theme for a challenge. Although I would have preferred this day to be after her birthday instead of before, but I have told my friend not to look lol!

For my card today I have created a Reveal Wheel Card using the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel die set. To decorate the card I used the Sewn with Love Clear stamp set, which I meant to use for her card last year and forgot I had it.

For the background of my card I used Concord & 9th's Stitched Turnabout Stamp, stamping the image using Distress Oxide inks in  Broken China, Scattered Straw, Spiced Marmalade, Cracked Pistachio

Here is a look at each of the 4 different sentiments which are revealed when you turn the wheel at the side of the card.

For the inside of my card I added a sentiment which is included in the Stitched Turnabout stamp set and more of the images from the Sewn with Love stamp set.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:
