    elzy-pumpkin-girl-wm

    Hi everyone,

It is day 2 for the sneak peeks of the new stamps to be released by Elzybells Art Stamps this coming Thursday 17th September.

Today I am using a couple of the new Halloween individual red rubber stamps that Elzybells will be releasing.

My first card using Pumpkin Girl, isn’t she a cutie!!!!! I also mentioned yesterday about the new Seasonal Sentiments set that are perfect for stamping on ribbons. This is what I used to stamp on the ribbon of my card …. I stamped it at the top and bottom of this wide ribbon. I did tie the bow separately and add that to the ribbon stripe otherwise the words would have been upside for one.

    elzy-dracula-box-wm

Next I created a treat box using Dracula and one of my favorite sentiments from the Mini Messages – Happy Haunting set.

    elzy-dracula-box2-wm

    Spooktacular Halloween Lollipop Holders

    elzy-lollipop-group-wm

    Hi Everyone,

Elzybells Art Stamps have a new release this coming Thursday 17th September, so for the next few days I will be sharing with you some cards/projects I have made using some of the stamps that will be available.

To start off I am showcasing the new Mini Messages – Happy Haunting set. This is a fun Halloween set which has soon many uses. I decided that as Halloween has a lot to do with treats that I would create a few treats of my own creating these fun lollipop holders.

    elzy-lollipop-pumpkin-wm

For this particular lollipop holder I also used another set which is called Seasonal Sentiments.   I used the Trick or Treat greeting along the top edge of my holder. This set has a variety of different long sentiments that are repeated that can be used on a variety of things including ribbons (which I will share with you tomorrow).

    elzy-lollipop-dracula-wm

I used love this “do you care for a bite” sentiment I used at the top edge of this holder perfect of treats. I also love these circle sentiments which also come in the set .. there are two different versions which you can see in my first two holders.

    elzy-lollipop-ghost-wm

My final lollipop holder uses the ghost from the set … there are still heaps of other fun images that I haven’t used. One of the things I love about clear stamps is that you can curve the sentiments which is what I have done with the two here that I have stamped on the edge of the circle.

    elzy-lollipop-group2-wm

Andy finally here are my 3 lollipop holders open, here I stamped the Trick or Treat poem that is another stamp that will be released this Thursday.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the Elzybells Design Team's blogs to see some more sneak peeks.  I will be back tomorrow with another Elzybells card for you.

    Recipe:

Stamps: Mini Messages – Happy Haunting, Trick or Treat Poem & Seasonal Sentiments - Elzybells

Paper: White; Orange, Olive & Purple

Other: Black Ink; Circle Punches; Circle Nestabilities; Slot Punch; Foam Tape; Copics

    Back To School!

    PE-Back-to-School-wm

    Hi again everyone!

I am back again today with my card for this week’s Pink Elephant challenge. This week the challenge is a theme challenge which was a back to school /for teacher theme.

it always feels strange to me hearing everyone talk about back to school at this time of the year because down here in Australia the school year starts at the end of January/beginning of February.

This is the second card today that I have used High Hopes stamps for …. these are some I have had for a while and hadn’t gotten around to using so it is good that they are finally being used. The school room was stamped on white card, masked and then I stamped the wood floor to the bottom area of my card. While the mask was still in place I then airbrushed the remainder of the white area for the wall. The boy and girl were stamped on scrap white card and cut out and mounted to my finished card.

Don’t forget to head over to the Pink Elephant Challenge blog if you want to play along. You can also see what the other design team members created this week.

    Recipe:

Stamps: School Boy, School Girl; School Room – High Hopes Stamps; Wooden Floor – Hanna Stamps; Back to School – MFT Stamps

Paper: White; Black; Cream; DP – Unknown

Other: Black Ink;  Foam Tape; Copic Airbrush System; Copics

    Cops Monkey!

    CCEE-copsmonkey-wm

    Hi everyone!

Happy Monday …. it is time for another challenge with my CCEE Stamper friends. This week we have another CNFS (Catchy Name Featured Stamper) challenge. This is when we pick someone over on SCS who has a catchy user name and create our cards around that name.

This month as I am the challenge hostess I selected the name “copsmonkey” …. my instructions to the rest of the team was to create a card that had a monkey on it, if they wanted to get creative they could add a cops hat on the monkeys head or wherever.

Now I knew I was gonna be in  BIG trouble with this challenge cause our head cheerleader Tosh does not like monkeys … no way … but I just couldn’t help it, Hopefully by now Tosh has forgiven me!

I used a monkey from High Hopes Stamps to create my card. The layout for this is WSC96 Beate’s Weekend Sketch challenge from the 4th September.

Don’t forget to check out the rest of our cards over on our CCEE Stampers blog which goes live at 12.00 AM.

Stamps: Monkey – High Hopes Stamps

Paper: White; Brown; Olive; Mellow DP – Basic Grey

Other: Black Ink; Label Tag Die; Circle Nestabilities; Brown Grosgrain Ribbon; Foam Tape; Copics

    Let’s Go Fly A Kite!

    elzy-fly-a-kite-wm

Let’s Go Fly a Kite, up to the highest heights. Let’s Go Fly a Kite and send it soaring!

Oops sorry you caught me singing again … but this card reminded me of that song Let’s go fly a kite from Mary Poppins ….. wow that is going way back LOL!

    challengegallerysun

Anyway it is Elzybells challenge time over on the Elzybells Art Stamps blog. This week the challenge was to alter an image, what a fun challenge. I used to do this a lot years back but i haven’t done it much in recent years so it was fun to do.

First up I had to select which stamp I was going to alter and I decided on the Teddy Heart Balloon image. Normally this teddy is holding a balloon but with a little playing around I was able to make it look like it was flying the kite in the mini messages – summertime set.

To do this I stamped the bear onto a scrap of white card and also on a post it note. I then cut out each image. I placed the post it note image onto my card where I wished to place the finished bear and then used my stamp positioner to stamp the kite. Keeping the mask in place I then airbrushed the clouds and grass area. When I removed my mask there was a white bear shape making it easy to work out where to position the bear image.

While on a recent shopping trip I found this fun kite designer paper, at the time I didn’t have a reason to use it but it looks like it came in handy after all. The sentiment is also from the mini messages – summertime set. To finish of my card I added the different colored ribbons to the side of my card.

Don't forget to check out what the rest of the design team created for this challenge.

    Recipe:

Stamps: Teddy Heart Balloon & Mini Messages –Summertime – Elzybells Art Stamps

Paper: White; Black; Yellow; DP – Unknown

Other: Black Ink; Yellow Eyelets; Red, Green & Orange Grosgrain Ribbon; Word Window Punch; Foam Tape; Copic Airbrush System; Copics

    alota-PE-carrying-pumpkins-

    Hi again everyone!

I am back again today with my card for this week’s Pink Elephant challenge. This week the challenge is a color one and we had to use the colors Black, Red,Yellow and White.

When I was thinking about what I could use for this challenge I was also browsing last week’s card for the CCEE Stampers challenge I also do every Monday …. well guess what we all used exactly the same colors last week for that challenge, pity the two challenges weren’t on the same day LOL!

I love my Alota bug stamps so of course it wasn’t hard to decide to use another of the new one I have recently received. This one is called Bugs Hauling Pumpkin … aren’t they just so cute!

    Come Hopping With Hanna!

    Hanna-coffin-wm

Hi again everyone and welcome to my blog. It time to join the Hanna Stamps Design Team for a blog hop!

I am the beginning of the blog hop.

Brand new Hanna Stamps & Riley Stamps will be released by Hanna Stamps this coming Tuesday 8th September after the release party over on the Hanna Stamps Member Forum of SCS.

Today I am featuring the new Goth Hanna, I hope you enjoy my projects!

    Hanna-coffin-3-wm

My first project I created is a coffin, just right for those Halloween treats. I found the template to create the coffin on the Martha Stewart site you can find it here. I reduced the size of the template to 83% before I cut it out as I didn’t need my coffin box to be quiet so big as the one supplied on the template.

    Hanna-coffin-2-wm

Here is a side on view of the coffin box, this was lots of fun to create!

    hanna-bad-bone-wm

Next I created a card using this set. I stamped Goth Hanna onto white card using black ink and cut her out. On a separate piece of card I stamped the brick background using my stamp positioner as I needed to stamp it twice across the card. I hand drew in the footpath. I stamped all the graffiti using images from the Goth Hanna set and also the new Graffiti set which was designed to go with the brick wall. Once everything was stamped I used my copic airbrush system to color the wall and the footpath. I then attached Hanna onto my card using foam tape.

I added the black band with the silver eyelets to the bottom of my card.

Well now it is time to head on over to the ever so creative Cindy Haffner’s Blog so you can continue on your Hop Around The Block. I hope you enjoy the rest of the hop and thanks for dropping by!
