It’s In The Cards …. It’s A Riley Blog Hop!

For my first project today I decided to create a Joy Fold Card using Stamping Riley …. isn’t this the perfect stamp for us stampers hehe! It would be create for Valentines day or any other occasion you needed a card for a stamping friend.

The sentiment used on the front of my card is one of the sentiments also being released.

Here you can see how the Joy Fold card opens up, you can see just a sneak of the inside of the card.

Here is my card fully opened up …. with another of the new released sentiments!

And let’s not forget the back of my card, using one of the new signature stamps … isn’t this just a cutie! This is called “Better Than” and is one of 3 signature stamps to be released.

From card making we come to card playing with this cute Poker Riley! Another fun image for the men in our lives don’t you think!!! The sentiment used here is from the Moose Sayings 2 stamp set.

Cookie Anyone!

Hi everyone,

Today I have one more card to share with you using the new Riley stamps which are being released by Riley and Company this coming Thursday 20th January (that’s later tonight!).

This time round I used Cookie Riley to create this cookie box. I filled it up with cookies which I can give as a gift to someone. It is always handy having gift boxes ready to give to someone.

Penguin Day!

Hi everyone,

It’s time for another challenge with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week it is my turn to host the challenge.

Apparently today is Penguin awareness day.... so seeing that one of the members of our  CCEE Stampers Design Team loves penguins, how could I not use this for our challenge today. So for this challenge all you need to do is to include a penguin of some sort on your card ... be it stamped, punched etc!

I had lots of fun with this challenge and took the opportunity to play with my Cricut Gypsy to create some shaped cards using the Cricut Create A Critter cartridge … love this cartridge. First up I created a Penguin shaped card …. what fun!

For my second card I used the igloo which is also on the Create A Critter cartridge and turned this into a shaped card and then I cut out a smaller penguin and added that to the front of my card. The white portion of the igloo I cut using white glitter card and then I sponged around all the cut lines using blue ink.

Birthday Girl!

Hi everyone,

It’s time for another Pretties Wednesday Challenge over on the Paper Pretties Blog. This week our challenge is to include Paper Piecing on our cards.

For my card I used Giving Thanks Sophia …. isn’t she just adorable!!!!!!! As you can see I paper pieced her dress. I also added sewing to all my layers of this card.

Here is the inside of my card. The sentiment used here and also on the front of my card are both from the Surprise Sophia stamp set.

A Riley Calendar!

Hi everyone,

It’s day 3 of the sneak peeks of the new Riley stamps that will be released by Riley and Company, this coming Thursday 20th January.

Today I am featuring another of the new Riley stamps that are to be released, this one is called Celtic Dancing Riley.

For my project today I decided  to create a calendar out of two coasters. After covering the coasters with designer paper I joined them using my Cinch and binding wire, just like I would a note book.

Not Bugging You!

I hope you are having a wonderful day!

It’s time for another Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS.

I just love this week’s sketch … ok so I love every week’s sketch, I can’t help it I love sketches!

For my card today I used PI Ladybug …. isn’t she adorable. I also used two of MFT Stamps Die-namic Dies on the front of my card, these are the 1/4” Rosette Die and the MINI Rolled Roses. For my rosette I die cut on strip using the rosette die and then cut this strip in half down the middle to make the smaller sized rosette.I love that I can change the width of the rosette to suit my project.

 

Here is the inside of my card … I stamped the ladybug again along with one of the sentiments. I also used another Die-namic die, this time the Little Open Scallop Strip Die

More Riley Sneaks!

Hi everyone,

I am back again today with two more sneak peeks to share with you using the new Riley and Company stamps which will be released this coming Thursday 20th January. 

Today’s cards both use Riley’s that will come in handy for those male cards we so often need. My first card uses “Baseball Riley” I created a large baseball using my circle nestabilities.

My second card uses “Tool Time Riley”, another awesome male stamp don’t you think!! It was perfect for this designer paper that I have had forever!!!!!!!!!

Something’s Fishy!

I am back today with another MFTeaser of the new  à la mode stamps which are to be released by MFT Stamps tonight.

Today the MFT Design Team are featuring the à la mode Something’s Fishy stamp set. I just love her!

For my card I used this month’s SFYTT sketch … love Jen’s sketches!

Along the right hand strip I added the MFT Die-namics Little Open Scallop Border Die.

For the inside of my card I used two of the MFT Die-namics dies … the Little Open Scallop Border Die (as on the outside of my card) and two of the dies from the Layered Labels Die set.

The sentiment is from the new More Essential Sentiments set.

Oh Baby!

Hi all,

Are you ready for some more of those fabulous à la mode girls from MFT Stamps. I can’t get enough of these cute girls! Two new à la mode sets will be released this coming on Tuesday 18th January at 10 PM EST.

Today the MFT Design Team are featuring the à la mode Oh Baby! stamp set.  This set is perfect for those baby cards we sometimes need to make. But I think this adorable image can be used for just about any occasion don’t you …  who wouldn’t love that adorable teddy bear!

For the front of my card I used two of the MFT Die-namic dies … the 1/4” Rosette Die and the Dainty Doily Die. I did cut down my rosette strips to approx 1” after I had die cut them … that is the fun part of these particular dies … one die different looks just by cutting them down to the size you want for your project.

Here is the inside of my card … again I used two Die-namic dies … this time the Dainty Doily Border Die (as in the front of my card); and the largest heart from the Stacking Hearts Die.

For my first sneak peek this week I have used the new Balloons Riley … isn’t he delightful!!!!!!!!! The sentiment is from the Moose Sayings 2 stamp set that was released last year.
