Hello, Friend

SizzixBirdsTreeStandup-wm

 Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our challenge hostess for January Sabrina Friel continues to bring us a fun challenge.

This week Sabrina has given us the poem Ars Poetica by Archibald MacLeish to use as our inspirations for this week’s challenge. We could be inspired by any of the imagery in this – the moon, leaves, birds, lights about the sea, open doorway etc.

For my card this week I decided to be inspired by the trees, leaves and birds in the poem.
I used the Sizzix Bird & Tree Die Set with stamps framelits and the Sizzix Circle Stand-Ups Card die to create my card.

Here is my card folded flat ready to be put into an envelope for mailing.

And the inside …. I added a label to write the message to the person receiving this card.

Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Fun card, I like how you cut the tree out & put on the easel area.

This is so soft and pretty and Spring-like, which is very welcome here! I love those little pink hearts - and the combination of the easel with a sort of tent-topper works wonderfully. Your big white circle is even an echo of the moon in the poem.
