Hello everyone,
It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Sarah Gough our challenge hostess for January has another fun challenge for us.
This week Sarah has challenged us to create Skinny Cards! Sarah asks us …. Did you resolve to lose weight this year? Let’s give our cards a makeover, go skinny with a card base that measures 3.5” wide by 5.5” tall. I love this size as you can hang elements off the side and still fit your creation in a regular envelope.
(hint: this is the size left over when you cut a 5” card base from 8.5x11 cardstock)
For my card today I used another of those Roberto’s Rascal stamps from CC Designs … this one is called Cocoa Cuddles to create a birthday card. I started with the base in the measurements stated above and then worked my way up to create the layers.
Here is the inside of my card. I love combing dies and stamps!
Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.
