It's time to share another rebus puzzle swap with you. This month the theme is Songs by Cher.
If you would like to solve my rebus puzzle, why not post a comment on my blog post with your answers. I will let you know what the correct answers are next time I post a rebus card here.
How did you go solving my September Rebus which was"Things that are Pink".
Here are the correct answers so you can check how you did.
It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Raquel Mason our challenge hostess for the month finishes off the month with one last challenge.
Raquel says .... It's now fall and I know this because I see it on my calendar even thought you wouldn't know it in Florida.Let’s put leaves, or trees with beautiful fall colors, or anything that says fall to you on our cards this week.
Of course where I live it isn't fall/autumn .... it's actually Spring! However who can resist creating a card using fall colors and playing with fall themed stamps and dies.
For my card today I have again been playing with the new Alcohol Lift Ink ... these are lots of fun and can create some beautiful backgrounds on your alcohol inked backgrounds.
To create my background I applied Sunshine Yellow, Citrus and Meadow Alcohol Inks onto Yupo paper. Once the inks were dry and then used the Concord and 9th Thankful Leaves Turnabout stamp set to stamp onto the background using the Alcohol Lift Ink.
I added a sentiment from the same stamp set using brown ink and then added leaves from Karen Burniston's new Autumn Elements die set.
For the inside of the card I created a pop-up card using pop-up die from Karen Burniston's new Explosion Pop-up die set. I added rectangle panels to the pop-up panel using the Crosshatch Rectangles die set.
Along the top and bottom edges of the card I added a panel created using the Alcohol Ink Lift Technique the same as I used on the front of the card.
To finish off the card I added some leaves from the Autumn Elements die set.
Here is another view of my card taken at a different angle so you can see the pop-up part of the card.
Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.

It's my turn to post a tutorial on theElizabeth Craft Designs blog. With Christmas being less then three months away now, it is time for me to start getting serious about making Christmas cards. For my card today I have used two of the new winter/Christmas themed dies from the Joset Designs collection released in August.
Here is how I created my card:
Step 1 -
Cut a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock so it measures 4 1/4 inches x 11 inches. Score along the long side at 5 1/2 inches and fold to create a top folding card.
Using the second largest rectangle from the Dashing Rectangles die set, die cut a rectangle from the ModaScrap Wood Effects Patterned Paper (Grey wood background used here).
Stamp the "Merry Christmas" Sentiment from the Classic Christmas Sentiments Clear Stamp set to the bottom right hand corner of the card using VersaMark Ink and Gold Embossing Powder.
Adhere the patterned paper to folded white card base.
Step 2 -
Using the Winter Ornaments die set, die cut the following:
3 x Solid Ornament from White Soft Finish Cardstock that has Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape on the front
1 of each of the Decorative Ornament Overlays from White Soft Finish Cardstock
3 x ornament toppers from Gold Cardstock (or Gold Shimmer Sheetz)
Remove the protective backing from the adhesive attached to the front of each of the solid ornaments and attach one of the decorative overlays on top of the ornament being careful to not touch any of the exposed adhesive.
Apply True Red Silk Microfine Glitter to two of the ornaments and Forest Green Silk Microfine Glitter to the third ornament (one of the red ornaments will be for the inside of the card). Remove any excess glitter and return to the jar and then polish the glitter into the adhesive to bring out the maximum sparkle.
Adhere gold topper onto each of the ornaments.
Step 3 -
Place foam tape to the back of two of the ornaments (one red and one green).
Tread a length of gold cord through the hole of the ornament topper and secure the end of the cord behind the ornament so it can't be seen.
Attach ornaments to card referring to photo above for placement.
Secure the other end of the cord to the top of the card using Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.
Create two tiny gold cord bows and adhere them to the ornament toppers.
Step 4 -
Using the Snowflake Border die set, die cut the decorative overlay from White Soft Finish Cardstock.
Use the other die in the set to die cut a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock that has Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape on the front.
Remove the protective backing from the adhesive and adhere the decorate overlay to the solid panel, being careful to line up die cuts and not touching the exposed adhesive.
Cover the adhesive with Light Gold Silk Microfine Glitter, remove excess glitter and return to the jar and then polish the glitter into the adhesive using your finger to get maximum sparkle.
Trim Snowflake border so it is 4 1/4 inches x approximately 1 1/2 inches. (Note: before trimming snowflake, make sure you centre it on the card so it is even once trimmed).
Apply foam tape to back of the Snowflake Border and adhere to the top of the card.
Step 5 - Inside of card:
Adhere the remaining ornament to the lower right hand corner of the inside of card.
Adhere a Gold Line Border Peel Off Sticker and adhere this from under the ornament topper to the top of the inside of card.
Using the sentiment "Peace, Love, Joy" stamp from the Classic Christmas Sentiments Clear Stamp set to the upper portion of the card using VersaMark Ink and embossing with gold embossing powder.
Thank you for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed my tutorial.

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Maryann Einam our challenge hostess for the month finishes off the month with one last challenge.
For our challenge this week Maryann has asked us to create a card using the Set Back Stamping Technique as shown a couple of months ago by Jennifer McGuire in a video here.
When I first read Maryann's challenge I thought ... great! I had just watched this on Jennifer McGuire's blog, but then when I started to think about it I thought yikes .... I seldom buy coordinating dies as I use my Scan N Cut to cut out most of the images I use that need cutting. Fortunately though I had just purchased the coordinating dies to Honey Bee Stamps Shine On Stamp set, as I wanted the dies for the sentiments in the set. I also started looking for a few other dies to coordinating with stamps and found a few sets that went with the flower stamps I was purchasing. So I was all set for plan A, B, C and possibly even D and E if necessary, who knows what you want to use until you actually get down to make the card ... not me anyway!!!!!
As you can see, in the end I went with Plan A ... the Honey Bee Stamps Shine On Stamp set with coordinating dies. As I like to create cards that do something rather than just a plan flat card, especially for the challenges I do, I decided to see if I could combine the Set Back Stamping with a Double Slider Surprise Card which is what I have made above.
Here is a quick video to see my card in action.
I die cut two additional fronts for the Double Surprise card one from white cardstock and the other from the polka dot patterned paper. I used the nail polish die from the Shine On die set to die cut the shape from the patterned paper/cardstock panel.
Using my MISTI I used the patterned paper panel to line up my stamp through the die cut opening and then stamped the nail polish. I also cut a piece of fun foam and die cut the bottle from the centre of it.
It is hard to see in the photo, but I added Nuvo Aqua Shimmer to the pink nail polish so that it would sparkle.
I added the sentiments to each of the slider panels using the scallop square from Karen Burniston's Upsy Daisy Pop-up die set for the bottom layer.
To finish off the front of the card I added some pink transparent crystals from Studio Katia.
For the inside of the card, I added a stripe of the diagonal striped patterned paper to the left side of the card. I added a sentiment using Sunny Studio's Sparkle stamp set with coordinating dies. The "Sparkle" sentiment was die cut from white cardstock that had Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape on the front and then covered with Elizabeth Craft Design's Peony Pink Silk Microfine Glitter.
Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

My card today is for a challenge I do with a couple of friends of mine. Each month we challenge each other to create something using supplies we all own.
As I love interactive style of cards and I have acquired a few more die sets in recent months to construct these type of cards ... I challenged my friends to make an interactive card of some type.
I have created another Double Slider Surprise Card using Lawn Fawn's new Double Slider Surprise die set.
As I had just received my Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Mermaid stamp set, just before I started on my card for this challenge, I thought one of the three mermaids included in the set would be perfect on the front of the card. This stamp set was part of Simon Says Stamp's August Card Kit, however I only purchased the stamp set which can be purchased separately as some of the other items in the kit I already owned.
Here is a quick video to see my card in action.
When I created my card this time around I created it in portrait style rather than landscape so my mermaid would fit onto the card. I also added the stopper to the Double Slider part of the card so that the slider panels only come out as far as where the sentiments/treasure chest can be seen and not the full panel.
I added some sand to the bottom of the front of the Double Slider Surprise card panel, so that I could add the mermaid to the card and it not look like the rocks were floating.
I used Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky, Antique Linen and Tea Dye to create all the backgrounds on this card. I also used Honey Bee Stamp's Ocean Builder Stencil to add some rays to the top of my card and also the top slider panel ... these are easier to see on the card itself then the photo.
For the background on the base card I used Honey Bee Stamp's Ocean Borders stamp set.
For the inside of my card I added another of the mermaid from the stamp set. I added a sentiment from Honey Bee Stamp's Mermaid Song stamp set and some bubbles.

Today I have two cards to share with you that I created when I was playing around with Alcohol Inks and Alcohol Lift Ink the other day. This time around I have one that was creating lifting the alcohol ink off the cardstock by stamping an stamp and the other which uses the ink that was lifted off by the stamp.
For this card I applied Crimson, Dandelion and Valencia Alcohol inks onto Yupo Paper. Once the alcohol inks were dry I then used Simon Says Stamp's Modern Rose Blooms Cling Stamp and Alcohol Lift Ink to stamp the image from the stamp onto the alcohol inked background.
I then cut my background panel so it would fit onto a 4 1/4 inch x 5 1/2 inch folded card.
I used Simon Says Stamp's Frames die set to die cut the panel from the alcohol inked background and gold cardstock and inlaid the gold thin frame into the alcohol inked frames.
I then used Concord and 9th's Fabulous Phrases die set to add the sentiments die cutting from gold cardstock.
I meant to cut my panel for this card the way I did the one above by so that the border edge would also be floral, however I die cut before I remembered I was going to do that so had to cut this one from white cardstock.
After stamping the Alcohol Lift Ink stamped image onto the alcohol inked background panel, I then added a white piece of cardstock and used the alcohol ink sitting on the background stamp and stamped it only the white cardstock. I love that you can get two cards from one stamp if you want to.
For the inside of the card, I added another alcohol inked background panel to the centre of the card and added another die cut sentiment.
And for the inside of my other card I cut a rectangle panel that was left over from stamping the image and added it to the bottom of the card and then added a sentiment.

Last week I shared a baby card I created for a challenge using stamps & dies from Suzanne Cannon's A Way With Words Collection available from Elizabeth Craft Designs. When I was making the challenge card I couldn't decide whether I wanted to make a Z Fold card or a Shaker card, so I ended up making both. Today I am sharing the shaker version of my card.
Both cards use mostly the same stamps & dies, there are a few differences. Being this is a shaker card I used the Garden Notes - Frame It Stitched Ovals die set to create the oval on the front of the card.
The large oval sentiment is stamped using VersaMark ink and white embossed and then I used Distress Oxide inks to add color to the panel.
The onesie is die cut using patterned paper and cardstock and was layered on to the top of the acetate rather than inside the shaker area.
I also added four corners using the Corners 1 die set.
For the inside of my card I added another rectangle panel of the patterned paper I used on the front of the card. I also added another of the stamped sentiments onto an oval panel.

Apparently yesterday (22nd September) was Ice Cream Day, so I decided to create any ice cream themed card just for fun!
For my card today, I have used Lawn Fawn's Square Reveal Wheel Add-On die set along with their Reveal Wheel Sweetest Flavor Add-on die sets.
For the background of my card I used Hero Arts Distressed Tile Bold Print stamp.
Here is a quick video to show my card in action.
Here is a look at each of the four different flavors/faces on each of my ice creams that show up when I turn the wheel on the right hand side of the card.
I used the wheel die to die cut paper using four different colors papers from the Watercolor Wishes paper pad, cutting each wheel into quarters and adhering one of each quarter to the white reveal wheel so the white edge of the wheel still showed.
I also added faces to each flavour/color, using stamps from the Sweetest Flavor stamp set and Thanks a Latte stamp set for the one with the moustache.
I stamped and die cut extra ice creams using the same colors of ice cream as that used for the reveal wheel part of the card, and adhered them over the front of my card.
I added the sentiment using then banner from the Double Slider Surprise die set.
For the inside of the card I used Honey Bee Stamps Enjoy stamp and coordinating die set to create the sentiment. I figured 'enjoy' went well with ice cream! I also stamped an ice cream and cherry to the lower left hand corner of my card.
