Divinity Designs January 2021 Release

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing two Valentine / Love themed cards I created using new stamps and dies from Divinity Designs January 2021 Release. This month Divinity Designs are releasing 1 stamp set, 1 stamp/die duos set, and five die sets including a new Slimline Cover Plate.

For my first card today I have created an A2 card that can be used as a Valentine card or a card for anyone you love.

I used the new Pierced Heart Background die which I layered onto the front of a white card base created using the A2 Portrait Card Base with Layers die set.

To decorate my card I created a Heart Shaker, using the Shaker Heart Frame die set from the January 2020 Blessings Box. I used papers from the Sweet Heart Collection Paper Pad for inside the shaker heart. 

I added the "I Love You" sentiment using the new I Love You die set. Underneath that sentiment I added the "So Much" sentiment which is from the Thank You Stamp/Die Duos set, this was layered using dies from the Sentiment Strips 2 die set.

To finish the front of the card, I added the silhouette couple from the Park Silhouettes die set from the April 2020 Blessings Box.

For the inside of the card I added a pink glitter heart using one of the dies from the Shaker Heart Frame die set.

I added two sentiments using the Thank You Stamp/Die Duos set and the Sentiment Strips 2 die set.

For my second card today I created a Slimline Valentine's Card using the new Slimline Heart Background die set along with the Slimline Rectangles and Slimline Card Base die sets.

In the centre of the card I added a sentiment using the Be Devoted stamp set. This was layered using the Double Stitched Ovals; Ovals and Scalloped Ovals die sets.

I added the hearts to either side of the sentiment using heart dies from the Layering Heart die set. The white hearts were die cut using white glitter cardstock and the pink from papers included in the Happy Hearts Paper Pad - Slimline size.

For the inside of the card I used Hearts from the Shaker Heart Frame die set. I also added smaller hearts to each side of the card using some of the hearts from the Slimline Heart Background die set.

The sentiment is another sentiment included in the Be Devoted stamp set.
