Hello Baby

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a baby card with you. A few weeks ago I shared a baby boy card, so this time around I made a baby girl card.

The base of my card uses Creative Craft Products Accordion Stepper Card die set. The die makes it so easy to create.

To decorate my card, I used products from Spellbinders Little Smiles Collection.

To create the background that is on each of the panels, I used the Falling Stars Betterpress Plate. I foiled this using white glimmer foil doing each of the panels separately. Once the foiling was completed, I used the coordinating 3D embossing folder Wishing Stars which embosses in the empty spaces.

The panel on the top left was decorated using the Bundle of Joy die set. The large star on the bottom panel is from the Swinging Among the Stars die set.

To finish the front of the card, I added some Betterpress sentiments which is also included in the collection.

For the back of the card, I added the two larger panels. The blank one is to write a personal message. The other I decorated the same as those on the front, I then added the baby girl sentiment using stamps & dies from Trinity Stamps.

Thank You

Hi Crafty Friends,

Recently I have needed a few thank you cards, so I am starting to build up a small stash so I have them when I need them.

For my card today I decided to create an Accordion Card using Creative Craft Products Accordion Stepper Card die set.

To decorate my card, I used My Creative Life's The Gift of Giving die set to create the bunch of flowers.

The "Thank You" on the top left panel is from Karen Burniston.

For the back of the card, I added two more thank you related sentiments and also added a flower which was left over from creating the bouquet on the front of the card.

Water You Doing?

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing an underwater themed Accordion Card that I created recently.

For the base of the card I used Creative Craft Products Accordion Stepper card from the Supersize Step On Up Collection. This is the larger of the two Accordion Stepper cards that have dies available from Creative Craft Products. This card measures slightly over 6 3/4 inches square when folded and will fit into a 7 inch square envelope.

To decorate my card I used stamps and dies from La-La Land Crafts June 2023 Card Kit.

My Wax Seal Kit from Made To Surprise by Sam Calcott, finally arrived so of course I had to add a wax seal to my card. You can see the Happy Birthday Wax Seal just above Marci.

I decorate the two larger squares on the back of my card, one to add a sentiment, and the other for a place to write a personal greeting.

Roaring Twenties Accordion

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing another card using a few of the stamps and papers from Crafter's Companion's Roaring Twenties Collection. This time around I have created an Accordion Stepper Card.

Creative Craft Products have two Accordion Stepper Card die sets one slightly bigger than the other. Back in January I shared an Accordion Stepper Card that measured 6 inches square when closed, that's the smaller of the two. Today I am sharing the larger version which measures slightly over 6 3/4 inches square when folded and will fit into a 7 inch square envelope. I like both sizes depending on the images you are using at the time.

For this card I used Crafter's Companion's All That Jazz; Raise a Glass and Shine Like The Stars stamp sets along with their Roaring Twenties 12 x 12 paper pad. I am really loving these products.

I added the larger square panels to the back of the card, one that I stamped a sentiment on, using one of the sentiment stamps from the Shine Like The Stars stamp set. .
I added a second panel which I left blank, other than the glasses, so there is a place to write a personal greeting.

Gnome Birthday

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have finally been able to start playing with one of my new dies that I received for Christmas.

I always like to receive something card making related for Christmas, and last year was no exception. I ended up getting a number of Creative Craft Products Stepper cards from Craft Stash. Just before Black Friday many of them became available, so I was able to purchase the ones I wanted.

For my card today I have used the Creative Craft Products Accordion Stepper Card die set from the Step On Up 2 Collection. This die set creates a card that measures 6 inches square when it is closed. I did get a similar die the previous Christmas, but that die set made a card that was 4 3/4 inches square which meant only being able to use some images. Creative Craft Products also have another die set that creates the same style of card that is 6 3/4 inches square when folded which I also have now.

To decorate my card I used gnome stamps from Trinity Stamps. The top gnome is from the Just for You stamp set and the bottom gnome is from the Party Gnome stamp set.

I added the larger square panels to the back of the card, one that I stamped two sentiments on. The sentiments are from Crafter's Companion's There's Gnome One Like You stamp set.
I added a second panel which I left blank, so there is a place to write a personal greeting.

Fore! Three Two One

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a card I made for a good friend who celebrated her birthday last week. My friend loves playing golf, and for as many years as I can remember I have created a golf themed card to give to her for her birthday. After all this time she more or less expects it.

it's getting harder as the years go by, as I haven't purchased new golf theme stamps in years and they are hard to find, especially ones to suit a female golfer.

After a lot of thought on what style of card I would create this year, I decided to create a Building Block Card using my Studio Light Building Block die set. I die cut the base of my card using black cardstock. I used border dies from Lawn Fawns Stitched Hillside Borders die set to die cut the grass portion of the card.

For the layers I used papers from Lawn Fawn's Watercolor Wishes in blue and greens.

To decorate the card I added the Golf Flag which is an older Magnolia Stamps stamp. The golfing peanuts are from an older "Golfing Nutz" stamp set from Cornish Heritage Farms Tom Fun Collection.

The tee and golf ball on the middle bottom square are both older Print Blocks stamps.

The sun on the top right square is another older stamp from Print Blocks.

For the sentiments I used the "Fore! Three Two One" sentiment from Rubbernecker, which I cut in half so I could add it to two blocks. The "Have a tee-rific day" is from an old stamp set from Clear Dollar Stamps.

My card folds flat and will fit into a 5 inch square envelope.

You're the Coolest

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Lois Bak, our challenge hostess for the month continues to issue the challenges.

Apparently today is Penguin Awareness Day.  Put a penguin or two on your card.

As you can see I created another Building Blocks Card using Studio Light's Building Blocks die set. This time around I didn't add the layers to each of the blocks, so I had more room to create my scene.

I die cut all the individual squares from blue cardstock and then blending Broken China and Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide inks to them.

I used Antique Linen and Vintage Photo on the sand areas, die cutting each of the pieces using Lawn Fawn's Stitched Hillside Borders die set.

To decorate my card I used the penguins and accessories from MFT Stamps BB Penguins in Paradise stamp set.

To finish off my card, I white embossed two sentiments which were included in the stamp set.

My card, folds flat and will fit inside a 5 inch square envelope.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Whoo's Having A Birthday

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Being a brand new month and year, it's time to introduce a new challenge hostess which is Lois Bak.

It’s a brand-new year.  Use something brand-new or something you’ve never used before, on your card.  It could be a stamp, a die, or even a technique.

I was lucky enough to receive a number of new stamps and dies as Christmas presents, so in that regard this challenge was easy.

I created a Building Block card using Studio Light's Building Block die set. I decorated my card using Mama Elephant's Owl Are You stamp set.

I also used an older Dare 2B Artzy's Feather Friends stamp set for the birthday sentiment that is stamped in the top left square.

My card, folds flat and will fit inside a 5 inch square envelope.
