It’s time for another challenge with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Wow can you believe it is December already … yikes the countdown is definitely on now! Charlene Merrick who is our challenge hostess for December has another fun challenge for us to finish off our challenges for the year.
For our last challenge for 2010 Charlene has challenged us to …. It’s All About Mittens! Incorporate mittens in your design.
Well I had been debating about getting the Spellbinders Mitten die and then Charlene issued this challenge which more or less confirmed my decision so I placed my order. It was a little smaller than I thought it would be but it is still super cute and I was able to make it work with the image I wanted to use. The designer paper panel uses the largest mitten die, the outer layer I traced around the outline of the mitten to create my folded card.
The cute little girl I have used on here is one of MFT Stamps newest release stamps. She is from the Heartfelt stamp set. I also used the MFT Die-namics Snowflake die to embellish my mitten.
Here is the inside of my mitten card. As you can see I have used another of the mitten dies to stamp my sentiment into.
Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

I LOVE the pink mitten, and I love how you used the smaller mitten on the inside for your sentiment. This is so cute, Frances! Awesome job with the challenge.
