Hi all!
It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our challenge hostess Tosh Leyendekker is continuing her countdown of challenges and as we are onto the last week of November we are down to the number 1!
This week Tosh has challenged us to create one layer cards. Now normally I dislike making one layer cards, I love seeing what others do with them but I have trouble creating them. So I figure I am pretty crazy to make not one but four one layer cards … but I couldn’t decide which of the cute Christmas/Winter Riley’s to use on my cards.
It is also day 5 of our Riley sneak peeks in readiness of the release of 17 new Christmas/Winter Themed Riley images & sentiment sets this coming this Thursday 24th November by Riley and Company.
For my first card I used this cute Riley and Pete Fishing … aren’t they just super cute!!!!!! I added some wide striped ribbon and three score lines to my card. I also added a tag with a Christmas sentiment, I will probably get buzzed for doing this for the challenge but I wanted to add the sentiment anyway.
The rest of the Riley and Company Design Team will also be sharing their cards they have created with you this week, so don’t forget to check them out too (You can find a list of the Design Team members on my side bar). We also have a Guest Designer this release who is Kelli Hull so check out her blog too!
Don’t forget the Riley & Company Blog hop which will be held on Thursday 24th November starting at 10 PM EST.
