Hi everyone,

It’s time for another Pretties Wednesday Challenge over on the Paper Pretties Blog. This week our challenge is a color challenge, the colors we could use were Pink and Green plus neutral.

For my card I used one of the Paper Pretties sentiment sets that were released last week. This one is from Fun Quotes …. and of course being an Aussie I just had to use this sentiment didn’t I. And yes it is already tomorrow down here …. when it is midnight EST in the USA it is already 2 PM the next day where I live!

To A Beautiful Friend!

Hi everyone,

I am back again today with another MFT card to share with you. It’s time for this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS.

For my card today I used MFT Stamps Inspired by Spring, this is such a gorgeous set! I stamped the branch onto my card and airbrushed the blue in the circle. The bird I stamped on scrap card and cut out and attached just to the edge of the left side of the circle. The circle is layered onto the MFT Die-namics Open Scallop Doily.

 

Here is the inside of my card. I stamped my sentiment onto MFT Die-namics Four Point Frame, I cut one out of white and two from black which I cut up to layer behind my white panel.

It’s A Girl Thing ….Who’s That Girl! Hop!

Here is the inside of my card, I used the MFT Die-namics High Tea Doily again … I love this die doesn’t look just like a real doily!!!!! This die comes with a polymer pop out tool to help remove all those fiddly pieces from the cut out piece … it makes it so easy to use!

Grad Girl!

Hi all,

I am back today with another MFTeaser of the new à la modes stamps which are to be released by MFT Stamps tonight.

Today the MFT Design Team are featuring the à la modes Grad Girl stamp set. This is another fabulous à la modes stamp set!!!!

I used two MFT  Die-namics to create this card. First up the Die-namics Small Scallop Border and also the Die-namics Pretty Posies.

Here is the inside of my card. I stamped the Grad Girl in the lower right hand corner of my card and also added two of the sentiments from the set.

Bundle of Joy!

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time again over on the Riley and Company blog. This week it is Cindy’s turn to host the challenge and she has given us a color challenge.

The colors we were to use are Aqua, yellow and any shade of brown.

For my card I used one of the new Riley stamps …. Bundle of Joy, don’t you just love the new addition to the Riley family!

The background I created using the Cindy Loo Cricut cartridge, which is one I recently received for my birthday … thanks . Of course I had to play with it hehe! The circle normally has a couple of animals in the place where the Riley Family is but after cutting it out with my cricut machine, I just removed the animals so I could put my own stamped image in it’s place.

Dream Big!

Hi all,

It’s MFTeaser time! Two new à la modes will be  released by MFT Stamps on Tuesday 19th April.

Today the MFT Design Team are featuring the à la modes Dream Big stamp set. I love the à la modes stamps!

For my card today I created a Napkin Fold card which I discovered recently on Marianne’s StampArtic blog. I love anything with folds or construction, so I had to give this card a go!

I used the MFT Die-namics Flat-Bottom Clouds die to add the sentiment on the front of my card.

I recently purchased this designer paper that look like it is night time, so I just had to use it with this cute à la modes image.

 

Here is my card as it is opening up.

And finally my card fully opened. I decided to stamp the Dream Big à la modes image again and placed it in the top left hand corner of my card. I stamped one of the sentiments from the set which is layered using the MFT Die-namics Sweet Stack Labels die.

Roses For Mother’s Day!

Hi everyone,

It is challenge time over on the Alota Rubber Stamps blog. With Mother’s Day just around the corner Cheryl Walker has given us a Mother’s Day Recipe Challenge. We had to use ribbon, roses and make something for Mum!

For my card I used Alota Rubber Stamps Pot Of Roses stamp. I used a recent TCP sketch for the layout of my card.

Hey Chickie!

Hi everyone and happy Saturday!

It’s time for another challenge with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Our challenge hostess for the month, Silke Kittmann has given us another fun challenge. With Easter just around the corner our challenge is to create an Easter Gift … a basket, a box or whatever you wish.

This week’s challenge is also a sponsored challenge and our sponsor is Krisi’s Kreations. Krisi's store sells templates which are available in a number of different formats, including PSD, TIFF, PNG, PDF & SVG.

For my project today I used a couple of Krisi’s templates in SVG format so I could use my cricut machine to cut them out. The first project I used Krisi’s Egg Basket to create this cute Easter Egg Basket.

To decorate my basket I used Paper Pretties Easter Babies Digital Set. All proceeds from the sale of this digital image set (minus Paypal fees) will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The entire digital image set sells for only $7!

For my second project today I used another of Krisi’s templates this one is called Not Straight Up Box.

This box is also decorated using the Paper Pretties Easter Babies Digital Set.

Here is my box with the lid off, I filled the box with cute little Easter bunny chocolates!

Please note this set is a digital set, you will not receive anything in the mail, once you make your purchase you will be able to download the file to your computer and then print out the images. This set is perfect to finish off your Easter gifts, but many of those sweet images can be used for projects other then Easter.

Happy Mother’s Day!

 

Hi everyone!

I am playing with new stamps and tools again today! I found these recently when I visited my favorite scrapbook store with a couple of friends. These cute bears are called Fizzy Moon, I just couldn’t resist and if it wasn’t that I had already spent heaps I might have got a few more!

Mother’s Day is less then a month away, so I thought I would make this isn’t a Mother’s Day card. Mums and flowers seem to go together
