Hello A Big Birthday Wish

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have a birthday card to share with you today.

I recently received my new Taylored Expressions Blending Brushes and of course I just had to play with them.

To create my card I die cut rectangle panel from the Mama Elephant Hexastar die set.

I masked the scallop edges and covered the panel with the Mosaic Leaves Stencil. I added color through the stencil using yellow, orange and green inks. Next I covered the panel through the stencil using Gina K Designs Glitz Glitter Gel.

I used the Taylored Expressions Framed Script - Hello die to create the framed sentiment panel, die cutting from white and black cardstock and layering together.

The birthday sentiment is from the Bitty Birthday Sentiments, white embossing onto black cardstock and then die cutting using Honey Bee Stamps Banner Builders die set.

For the inside of my card I die cut the Hexastar Panel once more from white cardstock. On a scrap of cardstock I sponged another Mosaic Leaves Stencil panel and once dry attached it to the base of the Hexastar panel.

To finish off my card, I stamped two more sentiments from the Bitty Birthday Sentiments stamp set.

Let's Shell-ebrate

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a fun mermaid themed card using MFT Stamps Mermaid for Each Other stamp set which was released earlier in the month.

For the background I used Whimsy Stamps Seashell Background which I embossed using white embossing powder and then used my new Taylored Expressions Blender Brushes to blend Distress Oxide inks in Mermaid Lagoon, Evergreen Bough and Tumbled Glass.

I added the sentiment to the top right hand corner of the card, which I white embossed onto black cardstock and then die cut using Honey Bee Stamps Banner Builder die set.

To finish off the card I added some blue jewels.

For the inside of the card, I added a sentiment from the Mermaid For Each Other stamp set and a birthday sentiment from the Bitty Birthday Sentiments stamp set. I also added a mermaid and some fish to the card.

Poppin' Up To Say

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a card using stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn. This is a sliding pop-up card with the toast in the toaster popping up when you pull the tab on the top.

To create my card I used Lawn Fawn's Let's Toast Stamp set and Let's Toast Pull Tab Add-On die set. I also used a few stamps from a magazine freebie I got a year or two ago.

For the inside of the card I added a couple of sentiments from the Let's Toast stamp set as well as a couple of images.

Birthday Reveal Wheel Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Karen Ostergard our challenge hostess for July finishes off the month with one last challenge.

Apparently today is Karen's son's birthday - so our challenge this week is to inspire us with a masculine birthday card.

For my card today I decided to create a reveal wheel card using dies from Lawn Fawn. Here is a quick video to see my card in action.

To decorate my card today I used Avery Elle's Peek-A-Boo Pals and Peek-A-Boo Cars stamp sets.

For the background I used distress oxide inks to create my sky background and added a grey panel to represent a road.

For the reveal wheel portion of my card I decided to use the Semi Circle Add On and stamped sentiments into the space. Due to the size of the opening, there are only 2 sentiments when you turn the wheel rather than the 4 on all my previous reveal wheels.

For the inside of the card I added the animals and present that I used on the front of the card and added a sentiment from Gerda Steiner Designs.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.

The Snuggle Is Real

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing another card using some of the new Divinity Designs products from the July Release.

As you can see I have created a Lever Card using Divinity Designs Lever Card and Lever Card Layers die sets.

To decorate the front of the card, I used the bib, sentiment and pacifier from Divinity Designs Baby Blessings die set. I stamped the "Sweet Baby" sentiment from the Sweet Baby stamp set onto the bib.

Here is another view of the front of my card.

I used the one of the labels from the Double Pierced Vintage Labels die set to layer the "Welcome Baby" sentiment.

For the inside of my card I added a couple more sentiments from the Sweet Baby stamp set which are stamped and layered using the Circles and Scalloped Circles die set. I also added a few more of the baby accessories from the Baby Blessings die set.

Butterfly Wishes

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog.  Vicky Gould our challenge hostess for July, finishes off the month with one last challenge.

Apparently July 20 - 28 is National Moth WeekWho knew the moth would have a whole week dedicated to it.  Use a moth (or butterfly) on your card today.  Extra credit if you actually have a moth stamp/digital you can use. This is an opportunity to add to your Birthday Thank you, Thinking of you or just all-occasion card stash!  Let the bugs fly.

For my card today, I was inspired by a card I made a few years ago. I used Karen Burniston's Oval Pull Card die set for the base of the card, this is a die which was created under license and sold via Elizabeth Craft Designs and is no longer available.

One of the fun things about Karen's dies is you get to decide what size to make your card, so I was able to make this a little long than I normally make them. I used designer paper to to create the pull card and then backed this with the aqua cardstock.

Along the right hand edges I used the Memory Box Kensington Border die set to die cut the aqua cardstock before adhering the panel behind the pull card. I die cut  two more of these borders using purple cardstock and cut out the butterflies and adhering them to the butterflies on the border.

Along the left hand side I die cut a scallop border also from aqua cardstock adding it to the left hand side.

I used the butterflies from the ModaScrap Butterflies die set which I added randomly over the card.

I added glitter dot peel off stickers to the centres of all the butterflies.

The birthday sentiment on the front of the card is an older one from Me and Carrie Lou, which has been in my stash for years.

When you 'pull' the card open it reveals the two oval panels, one with a sentiment from Impression Obsession and the other left blank for a handwritten message.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Bonjour

Hi Crafty Friends,

My card today is for a challenge I do with a couple of friends of mine. Each month we challenge each other to create something using supplies we all own.

As one of my friends and I had recently purchased a few international themed stamps/die sets we decided that this month we would have the theme ... International for our challenge.

A few months ago I got La La Land Crafts monthly card kit which had a "Paris" theme and as I had only used the poodles so far I decided to use this for my card today.

I created a Double Z Fold Card for my card today. I adhered the girl to the right hand side of my card and then added the speech bubble to the card attached to some acetate, so it appears like it is floating.

I die cut the roses using pink and green cardstock and paper pieced these together and then adhered to black cardstock.

Here is a look at my card when it is closed ready to be placed in an envelope.

I added a panel to the back of my card, so I could add another of the sentiments from the stamp set and also give a place for a handwritten message.

Donut You Know You're The Best

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a Triple Flip Card I created using the new Karen Burniston Triple Flip Card die set which was released earlier this month.

Here is a quick video to see my card in action.

To decorate my card I used Mama Elephant's Donut Treats Clear Stamp set along with sentiment stamps from Reverse Confetti's Donut You Know and Honey Bee Stamps Donut Worry stamp sets.

For the inside of the card I used Karen Burniston's Crosshatch - Squares die set for the layers of the card. I added another sentiment from the Reverse Confetti stamp set and added some more donuts from the Mama Elephant stamp set.

Best Birthday Ever

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a card I created using my We R Memory Keepers Foil Quill in conjunction with my Scan N Cut. I received the Foil Quill for Mother's Day earlier this year and as I had only made one card, I figured it was time to play! I recently purchased some single line fonts which would work with my Scan N Cut so of course I wanted to try them out. It took me a few goes playing with the different sized tips and finally got the look I needed, while I am getting used to this tool it is a matter of trail and error until I get it right.

The background is also created using the foil quill, I found the design over on the Facebook group WRMK Foil Quill for Everyone. If you have a Foil Quill I recommend you join this group.

To decorate my card I added flowers using Altenew's Strength Blooms Clear Stamp set.

For the inside of the card I added another sentiment from the Foil Quill Mix and Match Sentiments Bundle which is the same place I got the sentiment on the front. The fun things about this set, is that you can build your own sentiment using the various words/designs included in the set.

I also added another flower to the top of the sentiment.
