Birthday Wishes

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a Slimline birthday card with you today. 

For my card I used the Slimline Stars Background die from Whimsy Stamps. I die cut the star die from white cardstock, I then cut a panel of white cardstock which is the same size as the star panel and added color to the panel using Distress Oxide inks in Squeezed Lemonade; Carved Pumpkin and Candied Apple. I added clear double sided adhesive tape over the top of the ink background and added Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter over the top.

To decorate the the card I used Trinity Stamps Just For You stamp set to add the gnome.

I added the birthday sentiment to the right side of the card using Pinkfresh Studios Phrase Builder: Happy die set. I added the "wishes" underneath the sentiment using a sentiment from MFT Stamps Bitty Birthday Sentiments stamp set.

For the inside of the card I created a pop up card, using Karen Burniston's Katherine Label Pop-up die set. I added the sentiment using the two sentiments from the Just For You stamp set.

Along the bottom edge of the card I used Sunny Studio Stamps Slimline Basic Borders.

I added stars all over the background of the inside of the card, using the stars from die cutting the Slimline Stars Background die. I used the same colors of Distress Oxide inks to color the stars that I used on the background panel on the front of the card.
