My Forever Love!

MFT-mojo123-love2-wm

Hi everyone, hope you are all enjoying your weekend!

My card today was originally going to be for yesterday’s challenge over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog … but I ended up making something else for that so decided to keep this one for today’s blog post.

For my card I used MFT Stamps “Clearly Sentimental About You”, this is the triple scoop set for the month, if you purchase 3 stamps sets you will receive this one free.

The layout of my card uses the Mojo Monday Sketch (Mojo123) from a few weeks ago.

MFT-mojo123-love-wm Here is the inside of the card which copies the layout of the front of my card, the hearts used here are from the “Thinking of Hoo” set from MFT Stamps.

Eggs 4 Easter!

c4c-easter-chicks-wm

Hi everyone!

It’s Saturday which means it is time for another challenge with my “Crazy” friends over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog.

This week Robin Willis our challenge hostess for February challenged us to create a card/project using red as the main color.

Our sponsor for this week is The Stamps of Life by Stephanie Barnard.

logo
Each of the “Crazies” were able to select one of Stephanie’s digi stamps to create our card. I picked the Eggs4Easter set. The fun thing about these digi stamps is not only do you get the jpg files for each image, but you also get the abr files which are Photoshop brushes. So I decided to play around with the brushes to create my design and I had so much fun playing with these …. I do love brushes!!!!!!!

Everything but the sky and the color yellow were done on the computer using photoshop elements and the brushes …. I added the last two things after printing off my images.

The layout of my first card uses Mercy’s Tuesday Sketch challenge MTSC60.

c4c-easter-chick-wm
As you can see I couldn’t just create one card for this challenge, I was having that much fun with these images and the brushes. The layout of this card is another of Mercy’s Tuesdays Sketch Challenges (MTSC59). I think I am addicted to her sketches hehe!

Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.

A CCEE Inspiration Challenge!

alota-CCEE-wm

Hi folk!

It is time for another challenge with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week Charlene Merrick our challenge hostess for February has given us another fun challenge …. it’s an Inspiration challenge. Charlene gave us a link to ImageKind website, and we were to use one of the photos on that site as inspiration to create our cards.

I found this image of Ferald and Sahsha which reminded me a lot of this cute new stamp from Alota Rubberstamps called Ali and Asa, so I decided to use that for my card.

The layout is from a recent Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge (SSSC54). I masked the image and then used my copic airbrush to create the grass and sky.

Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs: Tosh , Charlene, Cindy, Joanne and Shirley.

Your Future Will Be Full Of Love!

PWC90-takeout1-wm

Hi everyone,

It’s time for another Pretties Wednesday Challenge & Blog Hop. If you didn't hop onto my blog via Christi Thorsen's blog then you might want to hop back over to the very start of the blog hop which is at Christie Ortman's blog.

This week the challenge is hosted by Jennifer Greco. Jennifer’s challenge is “Something for your Valentine”. It can be a card, a gift, a treat, whatever it is you are giving to your Valentine as long as it is stamped!

Well I probably won’t give this to my Valentine, which would be my DH cause we don’t do Valentines, but it was fun to create all the same. I used Paper Pretties Flirty Fortunes set for my project today and I thought it would be fun to use this with the Sizzix take out box die I have.

TPE-Cupid-wm

Hi everyone,

Welcome to The Pink Elephant’s 1st Anniversary Blog Hop! Wow doesn’t a year fly by so quickly! I know I look forward to every Monday when I can share another challenge with you all. Thanks to everyone out there who has supported TPE by participating in the challenges over the past 12 months.

Our special challenge for our blog hop today was to create card using your favorite challenge. Well everyone knows I LOVE sketch challenges, so I decided to use one of the past one to create my card.

I used Alota Rubber Stamps’ Angel With Heart Right Hand & Love sentiment to create my card, these are such fun images.

TPE-cupid-closeup-wm

Here is a side on closeup of the image, as you can see I stamped it twice, once on scrap paper and cut that out to mounted over the image stamped on the main panel.

The sketch I used for my card today is from Challenge #25 on July 27th. As you can see I mirrored the sketch this time round for my card.

Well now it is time to move on from me to the next stop in the hop which is Jenn Koss Hope you enjoy the hop!

Pink Roses For You!

riley-pink-roses-wm
Good morning everyone,
It is challenge time again over on Riley and Company, this week the hostess for the challenge is Patti Stigsell.
Patti has given us all a fun challenge, which is to create a monochromatic card. Cardstock, patterned paper and embellishments should follow the same color scheme. With the exception of white or ivory. The image can be colored as you wish.
Of course as you can see, I went with pink for my card. I used the new Sweetheart Riley to create my card, however I decided to cover the heart that is on the card Riley is holding and replaced it by stamping the flower on scrap card and cutting it out and add that to the card. Doing this means you can put anything you like on the little card.
Don’t forget to check out the rest of the Design Teams blogs today so see what they created for this challenge.

    It Must Be Love!

    TPE-Love-Bugs-wm

Hi everyone and happy Monday to you all!

It is challenge time again over on The Pink Elephant blog. This week the challenge is a theme challenge ….. Mushy Gushy Valentine. I hope this is mushy and gushy enough hehe … cause we don’t do Valentines in our house. But I do love these cute little bugs so of course I had to use them.

To create my card today I used the cute bug image that is one of the new images from Alota Rubber Stamps. Aren’t they adorable! I stamped the image three times, once the whole image onto white card, just the bugs on scraps of white and the heart onto red card. I then cut out the bugs and heart and paper pieced the image.

Did you know that The Pink Elephant challenge blog will be one year old tomorrow ….. yahhhhhhhhhhhhh. Hope you can come and join us in our celebration blog hop.

Don’t forget to check out The Pink Elephant blog to see what the rest of the design team have created this week.

    Fabulous Friend!

    SU-Purse-card-wm

    Hi everyone!

Here is a card I made with a group of friends recently, it's a CASE of a card that my friend received for her birthday! This was for a monthly get together we had and our project for the month was to create this card, creating the cute little purses out of various shaped punches. You can see the list of punches I used to create these in my recipe at the end of my post.

SU-purses-wm Here are a couple more purses that we made, but so far I haven’t done anything with them … but I decided to add them to my blog post anyway because then they are all together and if I lose the tiny purses at least I have my blog post to refer back to …. these are all so cute and easy to make.

A girl can never have too many purses, right!

    Recipe:

Stamps: Oval All & Linen Background – SU

    Paper: White; Blue; DP

Other: Blue Bayou & Chocolate Chip SU Ink; Grosgrain Ribbon; Square Punch; Circle Punch; Round Tab Punch; Oval Punches; Scallop Edge Punch; Boho Blossoms Punch; Curly Label Punch; Foam Tape.

    You Color My World!

    MFT-Flopsey-C4C-wm

    Hi everyone!

It is time for another challenge over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Being a new month means we also have a new challenge hostess, our February hostess is Robin Willis. Robin’s challenge is: “Be My Valentine – created a valentine themed card”

We also have a new sponsor, which is The {Stamps} of Life by Stephanie Barnard.

For my card today I used the new MFT Stamps “Basket Full ‘o Flopsey” I love how versatile this stamp set is … last week I used it for Easter and now I can use it for Valentines Day, just by stamping something different in the basket.

I used my copic airbrush to create the clouds and the grass was punched using the Martha Stewart grass punch. I used Mercy’s Tuesday Sketch Challenge (MTSC59) for the layout of my card.

    MFT-Flopsey-C4C2-wm

Here is the inside of my card, the sentiment used here is from MFT Stamps' “Clearly Sentimental About You” which is this months Triple Scoop set.

    Totally-Hay-wm

    Hi everyone,

Well I hope the answer to the above question, is that you are all doing very well!

My card today is for this week’s Totally Stampalicious’ challenge, which is a sketch challenge. Of course I had to play along too, cause I just love sketch challenges.

I already had “Farmer Hawg” stamped & colored with the sentiment from the new “Farmer Hawg Sentiments”, so I decided to use that for my card. I did cut off part of the image so that it would fit for this sketch.

    Baby Shower Invites!

    Shower-Invite-wm

    Hi all,

I have been busy the past couple of week’s making Baby Shower invites for my daughters upcoming Baby Shower ….. as this is my first Grandchild of course I am excited!

To create the invites I used my Sizzix “Onesie” die. I used a background stamp to take off a little of the plainness. My daughter loves monkeys, and so the baby has already acquired a few monkey outfits and a few giraffe outfits too … so when I saw this new digital stamp over on the Pink Cat Studio site I knew I had to use it for the invites. The image actually has a balloon attached to the monkeys tail, but as that would have been too hard to cut out I just cut it off instead.

The wording “Baby Shower” is from MFT Stamps new “Make The Date” stamp set. This set has so many different words that you can use for all sorts of occasions.

    Recipe:

Stamps: Make the Date – MFT Stamps; Monkey/Giraffe Digi Stamp – Pink Cat Studio; Backgrounder – CHF

    Paper: White; Blue

Other: Blue Ink; Blue Brad; Sizzix Onesie Die; Foam Tape; Copics

    MFT-Lovebirds-Heartbasket2-

    Hi again all!

It’s time for another challenge with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Being a new month we have a new challenge hostess, Charlene Merrick who has some fun challenges in stall for us all this month.

To start of the month, Charlene first challenge is a Heart Challenge - to make a card/project incorporating hearts in your design and add a charm.

I decided to create a heart basket which I created using the Sizzix petal card die. The image is one from MFT Stamps called Love Birds which was just released last night ….. aren’t those birds adorable!

The image was stamped onto Cream Perfect Paper Panels which is also available through MFT Stamps.
