Glimmer Poinsettia Slimline

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a foiled Christmas themed Slimline card I created recently. This card using another of Spellbinders Glimmer Plates & gold foil.

To create the background on my card I used the Christmas Foliage Background Glimmer Plate. This plate is meant to be foiled twice on an A2 card leaving a hole in the centre of the design so you can decorate the centre with a circle or other shape. 

As I wanted to create a Slimline Card, I cut my card so it was 4 1/4 inches x 11 inches and then foiled the plate 4 times rather than twice.

Once I had completed the foiling, I used Trinity Stamps Slimline Stitched Card Panels and Window to die cut my Slimline panel.

I layered the die cut panel onto a gold rectangle panel and then a top folding Slimline Card Base that measured 3 7/8 inches x 8 7/8 inches.

I used Hero Arts Infinity Circles die set to die cut circles from white and gold cardstock which I adhered to the areas that weren't foiled.

I used Spellbinders Glimmer Poinsettia Glimmer/Die set to gold foil the poinsettia's & leaves onto red and green cardstock.  I assembled the flowers and adhered them to both circles.

I added the 'Tis The Season Sentiment, again gold foiled which is from Spellbinders Holiday Sentiments 2 Glimmer Set.

To finish off the front of the card I added red nuvo drops & white gel pen to the berries and gold nuvo drops to the centres of the poinsettias.

For the inside of the card I added another poinsettias to the lower right hand corner of the card.

I added an oval to the top left side of my card and added a foiled Merry Christmas sentiment using Yana's Christmas Sentiments Glimmer set.
