Mama Loves Christmas

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

As you can see by the photo above, I am sharing another Slimline card with you today. This started out as being a Mother's Day card, but as I got into it, it started saying Christmas ... so that is what I ended up creating.

I used two Honey Bee Stamps Slimline die sets to create this card ... the Slimline Sentiments: Blanket and Horizon Slimline Borders die set.

For the background night sky, I die cut a circle from masking paper and then blended on Distress Oxide inks in blues and blacks (colors listed in supply list below). I splattered white paint all over the background.

I stamped and cut out the mother, boy and girl from Simon Says Stamp's A Mama's Love Stamp set which were adhered to the grass area of the card using foam tape.

I used the Santa & Sleigh stamp from Lawn Fawn's Winter Skies stamp set, which was stamped across the moon.

To finish off the card I added the Christmas sentiment using The Ton's Easy Sentiments Holiday stamp set and coordinating dies.

For the inside of the card I added MFT Stamps Stacked Merry sentiment. I added the "christmas" sentiment which is also using the Easy Sentiments Holiday stamp set.

I added the Santa and sleigh to the top of the sentiment.
