Thinking of You

Hi Crafty Friends,

Ever since I have been creating Slimline cards, I am also on the look out for long/tall sentiments in either die or stamp form. So when I saw Concord & 9th's "Thinking of You Perfect Pairings" die, I had to add it to my stash. I only purchased it for the sentiment, so the frame was a bonus!

This frame is designed to be used with A2 cards, so as I wanted to create a Slimline card, I die cut it twice from gold pearlescent cardstock and cut it apart so I could fit it only a Slimline card. I also die cut it two more times from white cardstock and cut the flowers/leaves, coloring these and adhering over the top of the gold one. The large flower is a double layer.

I cut a rectangle panel from pink pearlescent cardstock and blended Catherine Pooler Designs I'ts a Girl ink around the edges of the panel. I adhered both floral corners to the top and bottom of the card.

I die cut the "Thinking of You" sentiment from gold and white cardstock, layering them together before adhering to the centre of the card. To finish off the card I added a few pink gems to the card.

This slimline card measures 4 inches x 9 inches to allow for the size of the frame die.

For the inside of the card I die cut a white and pink panel of cardstock using Scrapbook.com's Slim Nested Rounded Rectangles die set. I used one of the leftover gold floral frames to add to the bottom of the rectangle panel.

To finish off the card, I added a get well sentiment using Catherine Pooler Designs Say It With Diamonds.
