Love The Here And Now

CCEE1418ChalkRose2-wm

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Being a brand new month, it is time for a new challenge hostess and this time round it is mwah!

For our first challenge this month I have challenged everyone to Create a card using the Chalkboard Technique. Here are a few tutorials:
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/chalkboard
http://blog.papercrafterslibrary.com/trendy-tuesday-chalkboard-technique/

For my card I decided to create an Accordion Card using the Oval Accordion Card die designed by Karen Burniston’s for Elizabeth Crafts Designs.

The rose on the left panel is one from Penny Black … it is one of my favorite flower stamps. I also used a sentiment from MFT Stamps.

I added some Border Peel-Off Stickers to edge the outside of the right hand panel.

Gosh, I love the way you used the big rose stamp for this technique - I wouldn't have thought of an image like that and it looks so fabulous! Thank you for a fun challenge to start us off this month.
