Christmas in Main Street

Hi Crafty Friends,

With just one more week until Christmas, I have another Christmas themed Slimline card to share with you today using stamps, dies and stencils from LDRS Creative.

The shop background on this card was created using the Christmas on Main Street Stencil. This stencil set is a 6 x 6 stencil and contains 2 stencils to help create the details in the shop scene. As I wanted to use it on a Slimline card, I decided to create a portrait style Slimline card so the main focus is on the toy store.

To create the multi colors in the stencil background, I did do a lot of masking, it's not perfect but I am pretty happy with my first try using this stencil

After creating the stencilled shop background I then masked the shops to sponge in the sky and pavement onto my card.

As I was using LDRS Creative stamps and stencil, I pulled out my LDRS Creative Slimline die set to die cut the panel. This was then layered onto a side folding Slimline card that measures 3 1/2 inches x 8 1/2 inches.

I stamped the children from the City Sidewalks stamp set and added them to the front of the shops.

I added a foiled sentiment to the  top of the card which uses Spellbinders Yana's Christmas Sentiments Glimmer Foil plate and dies.

For the inside of the card I added MFT Stamps Stacked Merry Die-namics sentiment, which I added twice. I then used the "Christmas" from MFT Stamps Bitty Holidays stamp set.

I decorated the sentiments by adding a few more of the stamps from the City Sidewalks stamp set.
