Latte Christmas Wishes

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing another Coffee themed Christmas card I created for the I created for the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

I have used the Made To Surprise by Sam Calcott's Double Interlocking Concertina die set from the new Showstoppers 2 Collection. I am looking forward to exploring the different ways to use this die set.

To decorate my card, I used Spellbinders Merry Mugs and Festive Ornaments die sets from the Merry Mug & Circle Crew Collection.

On the left side of the card, I added the letters "LATTE" using Made To Surprise's Chunky Uppercase Alphabet and Numbers die set. I also added snow flakes to the empty squares, which is also included in the Merry Mugs die set.

To finish off the sentiment I added the "Christmas Wishes" sentiment which is from Chloe's Creative Cards Gingerbread Sentiments stamp set.

I decorate the panels which can be seen when the card is closed. This can fit into a 5 1/2 inch square envelope.

Here is a look at my card, from the back. I added another panel to the back for a place to add a sentiment and a personal greeting. The sentiment is digital stamp I got from Verve Stamps some years ago.

Mugs & Kisses

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a Christmas Coffee themed card I created for the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. The hop started on Friday 3rd November and goes until Friday 11th November.

As I had recently purchased the new Spellbinders Merry Mug & Circle Crew Collection, I decided to pull those out to use on my card today. I used the Merry Mug die set to create all of the mugs and the fillings for my coffee cups. I used the Festive Ornaments die set to decorate the Santa mug, and the Santa's Festive Circle Crew die set for the reindeer mug.

For the card, I created an Inside Out Stepper Card using  Creative Craft Products High Centre Stepper Card from the Step on Up 2 Collection. Sam Calcott, shared a tutorial on this style of card a few months ago, you can see her tutorial here

Here is another view of the front of the card, with the side flaps extended so you could see how I decorated the sides as well as the front.

The "Mugs & Kisses" sentiment is from Spellbinders Santa's Sippin' Sayings stamp set.

For the back of my card, I decorated all panels again, using the dies included in the High Centre Stepper Card die set. I die cut two more coffee mugs which I added to each side of the card.

For the centre of the card I added another sentiment using Spellbinders Santa's Sippin' Sayings stamp set.

Santa Mug

Hi Crafty Friends,

For the past two days, I shared a coffee themed cards for the 2022 Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  The hop started on Friday 11th November and goes until Friday 18th November. As I recently purchased the Trinity Stamps Santa Mug die set, I decided I would make another card to enter into the hop.

The Santa Mug and gingerbread men are all included in the Santa Mug die set from Trinity Stamps. I made a top folding 5 x 7 card.

I added a foiled sentiment using Waffle Flower Crafts Merry Christmas Foil Plate, foiling it using red glimmer foil and using the Solid Plate with the negative foil image.

For the inside of the card I created a pop-up card using Karen Burniston's Katherine Label Pop-up die set. I again used the mug from the Trinity Stamps Santa Mug die set, this time I added a gingerbread man to the front of the mug.

Along the bottom edge of the card I added Picket Fence Studios' Slim Line Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas Word Topper die, which I die cut from red cardstock.

I added two more gingerbread men to either side of the sentiment.

Here is a side view of the inside of my card, so you can see the pop up portion of the card a little better.

Coffee Shop

Hi Crafty Friends,

Yesterday I shared a coffee themed card for the 2022 Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  The hop started on Friday 11th November and goes until Friday 18th November. As I have other coffee themed stamps and dies I recently acquired, I decided I needed to get some more cards made.

As I recently received MFT Stamps September Card kit that was coffee themed ... the Coffee Shop Card Kit, It was a no brainer that I would use that for my card today. I believe the kit has sold out, however all the dies, stamps and papers from this kit are all available individually and I have included the links in my supply list below.

As there are so many elements included in this kit, I decided to create a Slimline card. I made my card 8.5 inches x 4 inches to give me that extra height to allow for what I wanted to add to my card.

The paper pad is only 6 x 6, but by selecting paper that had lines, it was easy enough to join it and most of the joins are hidden by some of the die cuts.

I used elements from all of the die and stamp sets to create my card.

For the inside of my card I added the floor again and repeated the table & chairs on the lower left hand side.

I added a birthday sentiment using the Coffee Order stamp set, also included in the kit. I layered my sentiment using rectangle dies.

Coffee and Friends

Hi Crafty Friend,

Today I am sharing a card I created for the 2022 Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  The hop started on Friday 11th November and goes until Friday 18th November.

I recently purchased the Made to Surprise by Sam Calcott's 3D Delights Collection which was released in October. As my parcel arrived a couple of days ago, I decided to try my hand at making a 3D coffee cup using various stamps and dies from the collection.

My coffee cup isn't perfect, but for a first attempt, I am happy with it. A good excuse to play with this collection a little more in the future. As well as making the cup and saucer this collection also allows you to make a hat, basket and a cake which can be either a single tier cake or  two or three tiers.

For this card, I kept it fairly simple and went with a fall theme by selecting a fall colour theme of orange/rust and green.  I used patterned papers also included in the collection to decorate the cup.
For the sentiment I used the Special Sentiments A5 Stamp set and coordinating Sentiment circles sets for the sentiment. I also added leaves using the Love & Cake Stamp/Die set and Floral Stamp/Die set.

The base of the card folds up so that the card can fold flat, ready to be placed in a 6 x 6 envelope. This is also a good place to write a personal greeting to the recipient.

I have a couple more coffee themed cards to share with you, over the next two days.

Oh So Merry Pugmas

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a card I created for the 2020 Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  The hop started on Friday 6th November and goes until Friday 13th November. I almost missed this hop this time around, I missed the info about it. It wasn't until I was checking out a friends on Friday that I discovered it was on. So I created a card yesterday.

As you can see, I have created a Christmas themed Slimline card. To create the Slimline base card I used Honey Bee Stamps Hexi Slimline Coverplate Top and Hexi Slimline Coverplate Base dies. I die cut the coverplate from paper bag cardstock and then layered this onto a top folding dark brown Slimline card that measures 3 1/2" x 8 1/2".

I used Tonic Studios Coffee Mug Shaker Creator die set to create the two mugs on my card. This die set can make shaker cards, but I decided to just use the main die to die cut solid mugs.

To decorate the mugs I used a Whimsy Stamps/Simon Says Stamp Collaboration stamps set which was part of STAMPtember 2020. As my daughter owns a pug, I just had to purchase this stamp set.

I added the Mama Elephant "Oh So Merry" sentiment to the left side of the card. I white embossed the "Pugmas" sentiment which is part of a sentiment included in the stamp set.

I had planned when I started making this to keep it simple ... but I just couldn't! So I created a pop up card on the inside. I die cut the Honey Bee Stamps Hexi Slimline dies that I used on the front to decorate the edges on the inside. After die cutting and layering, I cut the panel down the middle and adhered that to the edges.

I used Karen Burniston's Mini Pops Pop-up die set to create the pop up elements. I used the standard pop-up for the centre of the card and then used one of the other pop-up dies to add the pugs on either side of the centre pop-up.

I used Lawn Fawn's Oliver's ABCs die set to create the sentiment "Brewing Up" also the back of the card.

I used a sentiment from an older pug themed stamp set, to add a sentiment to the bottom portion of the card. This was layered using an older Spellbinders Mega Ovals and Mega Scalloped Ovals die set.

Hello But First, Coffee

Hi Crafty Friends,

oday I am playing along in the Spring/Summer 2020 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop which is being held from Friday 22nd May to Friday 29th May.

I decided to create a Slimline card for my coffee themed card this time around.

For the Slimline portion of the card I used Trinity Stamps Stitched Card Panels and Windows die set and the Scalloped Card Panels and Banners die set.

Last week I received this cute Waffle Flower Be A Panda die which I so wanted to play with, so I decided to incorporate it into my coffee themed card.  The coffee mug and sentiments used on the front of the card are from Hero Arts July 2018 Card Kit.

MFT Stamps re-released their Say Hello Die-namics from their vault last week, so as I had the original version of this die I decided to pull it out to use on this card.

For the inside of the card I created a pop-up card using Karen Burniston's Katherine Label Pop-up die set,  if you turn the label onto it's side it fits perfectly inside the card when it is closed. I used the "Pand-tastic" sentiment from Art Impressions Pand-tastic stamp set along with another of the sentiments from the Hero Arts stamp set.

Along the bottom of the card I added two of the pandas included in the Art Impressions Pand-tastic stamp set. I added a stamped sentiment to the mug the panda is hiding in, also from the Hero Arts stamp set.

The coffee mug next to the panda on the right hand panel and the Coffee Word along the top border of the designer paper are all from La La Land Crafts July 2019 Product Kit.

Thanks A Latte

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing my second card for the  Fall/Winter 2019 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop which is being held from Friday 1st November to Friday 8th November.

Last week I picked up my Concord & 9th Coffee Blend Turnabout stamp set and coordinating dies which I had preordered at a local stamp store, so of course I had to make a card using it for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Yesterday I was playing with the Rectangle Pull Card die set, which is an older die by Karen Burniston from when she was designing for Elizabeth Craft Designs for a challenge coming up at the end of the month. As I had the die set on my table, I decided to make use of it again for my card today.

On the front of the card I added the Coffee Cup which comes with the turnabout stamp set. I also added a spoon which is die cut using a die from Karen Burniston's Ice Cream Sundae die set.

I stamped the Coffee Blend Turnabout stamp onto white cardstock, using Catherine Pooler inks in Over Coffee, Icing on The Cake, Daydream and Orange Peel. After cutting the stamped panel, to create my two panels for my card, I sponged around the edges using the Over Coffee ink.

When you "pull" the card open, it reveals a sentiment and two coffee themed images which are all also included in the turnabout stamp set.
