Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing an Easel card I created using some of the products from Spellbinders December 2025 Club kits. I didn’t have much time in December to play, so I am making up for that now.

For the Easel portion of the card, I used the Gilded Rectangles die set from Chloe’s Creative Cards. It’s a die set I ordered late last year which I finally got to play with.

I used Spellbinders Stitching Die Set for December for the cups & sentiments, but I opted not to added any stitching. 

For the Embossed background, I used the 3D Embossing Folder for December, after embossing I added white ink over the raised areas. 

The “Let’s Chat Soon” is a die included in the Stitching Die set, but rather than die cutting it, I hot foiled it using white glimmer foil. 

Here’s a look at my card when it is closed ready to place in an envelope. It will fit in a 5 x 7 envelope.

April 2024 Karen Burniston Designer Challenge

Welcome to our April Karen Burniston Designer Challenge.

Check out Karen Burniston's blog on Wednesday (US Time) when you will be able to see what all the designers created for the challenge this month, plus Karen will have an amazing video tutorial to share with us all.

Our challenge theme this month is ... "THIRST QUENCHER" - Create a project that incorporates a beverage. This could be coffee, tea, wine, beer, cocktail, mocktail, lemonade, etc. 

As you can see by my card above, I went with the tea theme. I used the new Tea and Coffee Pop-up die set along with the Tea and Coffee Borders die set to decorate my card.

For the scallop border panels, I used the scallop rectangle from the Rectangles and Labels Crosshatch die set, die cutting it from pink cardstock and then cutting it to the size I needed for this card. The label with the sentiment is also from this die set.

I love how the Tea and Coffee Pop-up die set includes the cup and saucer, tea bag, steam and spoon to make a fun tea themed card. Of course there is also a coffee mug included in this set too.

I kept the front of my card, fairly simple seeing the focus is on the inside of the card. I used the Rectangles and Labels Crosshatch die set for the layers.

I then added the Happy Birthday and Happy Birthday Shadow to the centre of the panel, before adding more of the borders from the Tea and Coffee Borders die set.

I have a fun slimline card to share with you today using stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn.

This slimline card measures 4 inches x 9 inches to allow for the width of the tree house. 

To create my card I started with the card base, adhering underwater patterned paper to the top portion of my card, this paper was a lovely shade of blue which I wanted for my sky and I knew the underwater portion of the paper would be covered by grass. For the grass I used the Slimline Grassy Hillside border dies cutting the green cardstock three times to create the layers.

The treehouse trunk is die cut from Lawn Fawn's Light Brown Woodgrain cardstock, I then added shading to the trunk using distress oxide inks. I die cut the leaf area of the tree five times and added shading to the lower portion of each panel. I adhered my tree house to the upper portion of my card.

To create my cute "tea party" scene I used Lawn Fawn's Tea-rrific Day and Tea-rrific Day Add-ons stamp sets. I stamped, die cut and coloured all the images before adding to my card.

To finish off the front of my card I added the two sentiments which come from both stamp sets.

For the inside of my card I used Lawn Fawn's Giant Hooray die to create my sentiment. I die cut the sentiment twice, once from holographic cardstock and once from black, I then offset the holographic sentiment over the black. I added the "It's Your Birthday" sentiment under the die cut sentiment which is from Reverse Confetti/Simon Says Stamp Celebrate Your Day stamp set.

I added more grass to the bottom of my card and added a few more of the cute images to complete my card.

I have a "tea" themed Slimline card to share with your today using new dies from Lawn Fawn.

To create the Slimline portion of the card I used Lawn Fawn's Large Slimline with Sliders die set. I used the largest rectangle in the set to die cut a panel of white card, striped paper and woodgrain papers. I trimmed the panels down as necessary and adhered to the white slimline rectangle panel. This was then adhered to a top folding white slimline card that measures 3 1/2 inches x 8 1/2 inches.

For the tea pot, cups, saucers and sugar bowl I used the Stitched Teapot and Stitched Teacup die sets. I die cut each of the elements from pink and patterned paper and paper pieced the two together. The sugar cubes were cut from white glitter cardstock and the spoon from silver mirror cardstock.

I used a sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Tea-rrific Day stamp set to finish off the front of the card.

For the inside of my card, I added a strip of woodgrain paper along the bottom edge to form a table top. I added another cup and saucer to the right hand side of the card.

The sentiment is an older one I have had in my stash for years by The Cottage Stamper.

Today I am sharing a Slimline card I created using stamps and die from Trinity Stamps.

For the base of my card I used the Slimline Stitched Card Panels and Windows die set to die cut the blue and green patterned paper which are both from Lawn Fawn's Watercolor Wishes paper pad. I used the grass die from the Slimline Great Outdoors die set to die cut the green paper and to also die cut the fence. I adhere all these pieces to a top folded Slimline card base.

To create my scene I used the Best Tea Party also from Trinity Stamps. I added the speech bubble for the sentiment using the Comic Speech Bubbles die set from Whimsy Stamps.

For the inside of the card I added the grass border along the bottom of the card. I then added the bear, teapot and bees from the Best Tea Party stamp set.

The sentiment on the inside of the card was from Taylored Expressions "In Other Words - Tea" stamp set.

Brewing Up A Cup Of Birthday Wishes

t's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog.  As challenge hostess for the month, I continue to issue the challenges.

Apparently the 21st April was Tea Day, create a card that features tea or coffee.

For my card today I decided to go with a tea theme and pulled out some older stamps from La La Land Crafts ... Tea Time Marci and Tea Time Set stamp sets. It's probably no big surprise that I created a Slimline card to create a room scene. I used papers from Lawn Fawn for the wall portion of my card, die cutting the paper using one of the rectangle dies from Trinity Stamps Stitched Card Panels & Windows die set. For the floor I used Penny Black's Wood Floors die set.

I used an older tea themed sentiment from The Cottage Stamper Inc. to add the sentiment to the top portion of my card.

For the inside of the card I created a pop up card using Karen Burniston's Katherine Label Pop-up die set. I used the labels from the Paper Frames Pop-up die set to add the sentiments to the card. I added a sentiment from Close To My Heart's Tea-rrific stamp set to the top pop-up. For the second sentiment I used the "You are" from the first sentiment and then added the "BEAU-TEA-Ful!" from Art Impressions Valentine Bears stamp set.

To finish off the card I added the cup and tea bag which is also included in the La La Land Crafts Tea Time stamp set.

Thank You Half Shutter Card

Today I am sharing another card I created using a few of the new products from Divinity Designs April Release.

For my card today I created a Half Shutter Card using Divinity Designs Half Shutter Card with Layers die set.

One of the new die sets this release is the Gift Card Pockets with Layers die set, this contains 3 different styles of gift card pockets and layering dies for each pocket. For my card today I used one of the gift card pockets to add to the back full panel of my card.

I added the Thank You with Layers die set, also new for the centre panel of the card. This was layered using the Doubled Stitched Ovals and Ovals die sets.

Here is a look at my card when it is closed. I used the patterned papers from the new Bold Blooms Slimline Sized Paper Pad. 

I added the cup, saucer and spoon from the Cups & Mugs die set. This was layered using oval dies from the Double Stitched Ovals and Ovals die sets.

Today we are taking a look back at Divinity Designs July Release. I have created a Slimline Card using some of the Slimline Die sets that were part of this release. For more inspiration using the July Release and to see the other designers projects, be sure to visit the Divinity Designs Blog .

For my card I used the following Slimline die sets: Slimline Card Base; Slimline Rectangles; Slimline Layering Rectangles and Slimline Scalloped Rectangles.

I used papers from the Birthday Brights and Weathered Wood Paper Collection for the background panel of my card.

To decorate my card I used the cups, saucer and spoon from the Cups & Mugs Die set. I die cut the cup and heart included in the set from rainbow colored cardstock and then adhered them to my card in rainbow order, reversing the order of the hearts.

I finished the card by adding a sentiment from the Perk Up Stamp/Die Duos set at the bottom of the card.

To create the layers of the card on the inside are the same Slimline dies I used on the front. I added the cup, saucier and spoon to the bottom of the card.

The sentiment is another of the sentiment stamps included in the Perk Up Stamp/Die Duos set.

Sending a Warm Cup of Kit-Tea

Today I am playing with another of the stamp sets I received from the My Monthly Hero August Card kit. I love this cute little kitty sitting in a tea cup.

I have created a Lever Card using Our Daily Bread Designs Lever Card die set.

I stamped the kitty/teacup onto white cardstock and then stamped the flowers from the stamp set to decorate the teacup.

I used the coordinating layering die set to die cut the layers of this card from patterned paper.

I added a couple of the sentiments including in the stamp set and also added some more of the flowers.

Apparently today is Beverage Day, so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to pull out my Mama Elephant Tea-Time die set to create a teapot shaped card. I love creating shaped cards.

I also pulled out my Altenew Monochrome Washi Tape which I purchased recently. This is amazing!!!! I don't really use washi tape much on cards, but this comes in a roll which is 4 1/2 inches wide so you can cover a complete card or more. I covered a piece of cardstock large enough to fit the teapot die with the washi tape and then die cut the teapot. I then used the coordinating dies to die cut the handle, spout and lid in navy blue cardstock.

I added a sentiment from the Art Impressions Valentine Bears stamp set, I am not a valentine card maker but I knew this stamp set would work for many other occasions so I had to have it. I love that "Hi Best-Tea!" sentiment ... it is like saying hi to a friend.

For the inside of the card I die cut another teapot from navy cardstock and stamped the cute bear in the teacup and sentiment from the same stamp set.

Tea Time Die - Mama Elephant

Happy Mother's Day

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Liz Williams our challenge hostess for the month, continues to issue the challenges. 

In honor of “Hot Tea Month,” use a teapot or teacup on your card or use a “tea stain” technique if you like.

As you can see I have created a Mother's Day card for the challenge today. I know Mother's Day is a fair way away still, however while I was at the craft show in November, I picked up a tea themed stamp set from Close to My Heart and one of the cups has the "Happy Mother's Day on the cup. I always need a few Mother's Day cards  in my stash so it was a good excuse to use it.

I have created a "pull card" using the Pop it Ups Circle Spiral Pull Card die set which has now been discontinued. 

I colored the cup to match the teapot and cups in the designer paper. You probably can't see in the photo, but I also added some shimmer to the cup using the Tonic Studios Shimmer Pen.

When you "pull" the card open it reveals a sentiment. I have added another blank circle which can be used to handwrite a personal message.
