Have A Magical Day!

mft-magical-day-wm

Hi everyone,

I am back with another MFTeaser to share with you today. This time round I am featuring one of the new Pure Innocence stamps that will be released by MFT Stamps on Wednesday 2nd December.

My first card uses the new “Fairy Girl” image … isn’t she a cutie … I am so loving these adorable stamps!!!!!!!! I cut the sentiment into 3 smaller pieces so that I could use it to stamp onto a circle rather one long sentiment. That is the advantage of long sentiments … you can either use them long or cut them up and use that way … it is still good to use long again if I wanted to.

mft-Friendship-wm

Of course I couldn’t leave it at just showing you one card using these sweet little girls. So here is another card I made, this time using “Merry Kissmas”. For this card I used Beate’s Weekend Sketch Challenge for the layout of my card …. I did deviate a little from the original sketch but that was the inspiration for my card.

MFT is releasing not one but 4 new sets this month in the Pure Innocence range and I am sure you will love them all. To see the other stamps in this range don’t forget to visit Kim’s blog any time after 11AM EST to get the list of which Design Team & Guest Design Team members are also featuring this set on their blogs today.

Other: Black Ink; Circle Nestabilities; Label Nestabilities; Label Tag Die; MS Snowflake Punch; Blue Candy Dots; Blue Grosgrain Ribbon; Glitter Glue Circle Punches; MS Floral Vine Deep Edge Punch; Brads; Foam Tape; Copics

Birthday Wishes!

TPE-bdaydog-wm

Hi all!

It is Monday so it is time for another challenge over on The Pink Elephant blog. This week the challenge is a theme challenge: Color Me Wonderful – using our favorite coloring medium.

Our sponsor this week is Christine Wooden from All That Scraps

I am sure it is not secret that my favorite coloring medium is of course copic markers! So of course that is what I used on my image. This week I am using digital images from CC Designs who are this week’s sponsor of The Pink Elephant challenge. I selected C.C. Designs Pixie Pets Birthday Bash DIGI ….. isn’t this puppy just super cute and there is even another included in the set and the sentiment also.

I used Mercy’s Tuesday Sketch challenge MTSC48 for the layout of my card.

Paper: White; Pink; Aqua; DP

I Adore You!

MFT-adoreyou-wm

Hi folks!

It is that time of the month again when I get to start sharing with you MFteasers in readiness of the new stamp sets to be released by MFT Stamps on Wednesday night 2nd December.

For my first MFTeasers, I am using the new “Love at First Sight” set.  I have to say what a delightful set and I know you will all love it. I decided to use the girl and the love hearts on my card. I also used one of the sentiments, but I cut it apart so that it would fit onto my oval punch out. Of course if I want to use it as a long stamp again that is so very easy to do.

For the layout of my card I used one of Jen’s recent SFYTT sketches, from 14th November.

Would you like to see more ideas using this set??? Then hop on over to Kim’s (MFT Lady) blog to see the list of which design team members will be featuring a card/project on their blog today. Kim will have the list posted to her blog at 11am EST. This month we also have some guest designers filling in while some of the design team take a break :)

I will be back tomorrow with another MFTeaser to share with you all!

Hello!

C4C-Hello-wm

Hello everyone!

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. My card today is for this week’s challenge over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. This week the challenge is “Punch Happy”, get those punches out …. borders, shapes or decorative …. let’s have some punch fun when creating our cards this week!

Our sponsor for this month is Kraftin Kimmie Stamps and the C4C design team were lucky enough to be able to use one of their new images for our cards this week. I decided to use their new “Small Talk” stamp.

MTSC49 I also made use of Mercy’s Tuesday sketch challenge for my card this week, it really suited both my image and punching so it was hard to resist using it.

For the punch requirement of the C4C challenge I used the Fiskars Fleur de lis Border punch along the left edge of my card and also a star punch for my sentiment.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.

My Snuggle Bunny!

PP-Snuggle-Bunny-wm

Welcome to our Prettie Peeks for Paper Pretties December Release!

We had so much fun last month using a well known song for our peeks that we thought we'd try it again, and since we love giving things away, we'll have the same rules for prizes as last month - leave a comment on a card from the pretty peeks in the pretties gallery and we'll pick names for you to win the new releases.

This month, in keeping with Christmas we've chosen a well known Christmas carol - Winter Wonderland! Each day two of the Prettie Girls will upload their challenge cards based on that song. If you stop by the Pretties Gallery and leave that Prettie Girl a comment on her card, you'll have a chance to win the new set that has been used in that peek - make sense?

The contest will end December 2nd and the winners will be posted on the Paper Clip. You can find the link to the specific cards in the Paper Pretties gallery on each blog post. So, lets get started! Christie's blog is first on the hop so get on over there and make sure you stop by and leave a comment in the gallery for her for your chance to win!
Don't forget to stop on by the party in the Paper Pretties forum on December 1st at 8pm EST when all the stamps will be released for sale.

Julie Masse, Jane Matsumoto & Kristy Ketterlin will also be posting a Pretties Peek today so make sure that you visit there blogs to see what they have done using this months new release stamps and the challenge.

So onto my card! The stamp set I am featuring here today is called “Snuggle Bunny” …. isn’t that little rabbit a cutie. What do rabbits have to do with the Christmas carol – Winter Wonderland … not a lot. However there are a couple of things about this stamp set that remind me of the song. The first is the rabbit’s scarf …. just like a snowman’s … maybe even the snowman in the song. This song is also talking about two people who have feelings for each other, and I figure they just could be snuggling hehe!

Before you go don’t forget to comment on my card in the Paper Pretties gallery for your chance to win the “Snuggle Bunny” stamp set used on my card.

**********

One last thing ..... to celebrate the American Thanksgiving, Paper Pretties will be having ALL of our Thanksgiving, Christmas & Winter stamps 30% off for you!!! The sale will be effective from November 26th until the 30th.

This week it is Christie Ortman’s turn to host the challenge and she decided to have an Inspiration challenge using the picture below. I decided to go with the dots on the ceramic items and also the blue, although my blue is a lot darker!

I used Paper Pretties “Pullin For You” stamp set to create my card this week, after stamping it onto white card I then used Labels 8 Nestabilities to cut it out.

A Season of Happiness & Good Cheer!

TPE-Plaid-Christmas1-wm

Hi and happy Monday to you all!!!!!!!

Of course Monday’s here mean that it is time for another challenge over on the The Pink Elephant blog. This week the challenge is a recipe one …. the recipe was: something Plaid; any # of brads & no ribbon. What no ribbon …… arghhhhhh … but I can do it hehe!

This week the design team all got to play with the new Wild Flower Kids “Tis the Season” digi stamps which are available from the Stamp Happens Shop. These were such fun to play with.

I decided to create a scene using the girl and boy and Christmas Tree, that is one of the fun things about digi stamps you can resize the images to suit whatever you want to do with them … so I could make my girl and boy smaller than the tree.

I was lucky that I had picked up this plaid designer paper from the Eskimo Kisses Basic Grey range just recently so that was perfect to go with my Christmas theme. And we also needed a brad …. well I added a star brad over the top of the star on the tree … I couldn’t find anywhere else to put one so I left it at just the one!

TPE-Plaid-Christmas-wm As you can see … I had to make another easel card LOL … yeap totally addicted I tell ya! If you haven’t tried them yet give them a go they are really so easy to create.

Don’t forget to check out The Pink Elephant blog to see what the rest of the design team have created this week.

Paper: White; Pink; Eskimo Kisses DP – Basic Grey

Seeing Stars!

elzy-stars-wm

It is Elzybells challenge time over on the Elzybells Art Stamps blog. This week the challenge was “Seeing Stars” …. we had to use a star (or stars) somewhere on your project.

I used “Decorating Teddy” to create my card for this challenge, for the simple reason that Teddy was holding a star … I figured that was a good start! I recently purchased the Star Nestabilities so of course I wanted to use that as well.  So I stamped the teddy directly onto the star and also stamped it a second time so I could cut it out and paper tole it over the other one. And finally I used the new star cuttlebug embossing folder on the green panel of my card.

Takeout Tonight!

PWC78-Takeout-wm

Well I won’t really be having take out tonight, but it is the next best thing as it is my DD’s turn to cook hehe …. yahhhhh.

Of course it is Wednesday which means it is time for another Pretties Wednesday Challenge & Blog Hop. If you didn't hop onto my blog via Christi Thorsen's blog then you might want to hop back over to the very start of the blog hop which is at Christie Ortman's blog.

This week it is Heather Lee-Reppen’s turn to issue the challenge. She has challenged us to a color challenge with a twist. We had to use the colors Black, Red & White and the twist was to add glitter to our project.

I love this color combo, it has to be up there in my fav combo’s (of course I do have more then one favorite color combo LOL … how could you not *wink*) Anyway I had just purchased this oriental themed designer papers the other week and as they worked with this color combo it wasn’t hard to decide which set I would be using this week …. Paper Pretties Flirty Fortunes set! I carefully stamped the takeout box onto my designer paper so that the red symbol was on the front of my box and paper pieced this onto my box that I had on the white circle.

I found this fun sketch while browsing my Google Reader recently from the Just Us Girls (JUGS) blog and decided to use it for the layout of this card.

Ok so where is the glitter …. don’t worry it is there LOL … I added it to the stripes on the chopsticks!
