Wishing You A Merry Christmas

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I have a Gnome themed Christmas Slimline Shadow Box card to share with you.

My card uses Studio Light / Creative Craft Lab's Slimline Shadowbox Card die set. I decorated the card using Trinity Stamps North Pole Gnomes stamp set.

Inside the shadow box, I used Divinity Designs' Slimline Tree & Hill Silhouettes die set, to add the snowy hills and trees.  I used white glitter cardstock for the snowy hills.

The banner at the top of the card, is also included in the Slimline Shadowbox die set.

I added a panel to the back of the card. I added a gnome themed sentiment from Picket Fence Studios on this panel. I also added a gnome elf and gnome Santa to each side of the back panel.

40th Birthday

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a 40th Birthday card I created recently.

For the base of my card, I used the Made to Surprise By Sam Catcott's 5 x 7 Side Panel die set. I added the "40" to the side panel on the right side of my card using the Large Modern Numbers die set also from Made to Surprise.

To decorate my card, I used the balloons from the Birthday Additions die set also from Made To Surprise.

The birthday sentiment is Showstopper Puns stamp set.

I added layers to two of the panels on the back of the card, one for decoration and the white panel to add another sentiment and another balloon. The sentiment is from the Sentiments stamp set from the Showstopper Collection.

Reindeer Mug

 Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing another Coffee themed Christmas card, that I created recently.

For the base of the card, I used the A6 Window Card die set from Creative Craft Products Fancy Folds Collection.

To decorate my card, I used Trinity Stamps Freezin' Season & Beary Cute Layered Mug die sets.

Here you can see the card when it is folded ready to be placed in an envelope.

Here is a look at the back of my card, I added the "Season's Greetings sentiment at the top of the panel. I then added the "cup of Cheer" sentiment which is a digital sentiment I got from Verve Stamps some years ago.

Beary Merry Christmas

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a bear themed Christmas card I created recently, with a beary fun pop-up on the inside.

For the front of my card, I used Adventure in Ink's Dare To Bear stamp set. For the snowy hill, I used Lawn Fawn's Stitched Hillside Border die set.

The "Merry Christmas" is red foiled using Waffle Flower Craft's Merry Christmas Duo Foil Plate & coordinating die.

For the inside of the card, I used Made To Surprise by Sam Calcott's Double Interlocking Concertina die set. I die cut the main die twice from red cardstock, I then trimmed off the concertina squares from one panel and joined the two together.

I added more of the bears from the Dare to Bear stamp set.

Here is an overhead view of the card, so you can see how this is inserted into the front panel. The edge of the card at the back is about 1cm away from the fold of the white card panel.

Gingerbread Gift Tags

Hi Crafty Friends,

According to the Days of the Year Website, today (21st November) is National Gingerbread Cookie Day. Today I am sharing another gift tag I created using Creative Craft Products Sweet Christmas Collection. This collection consists of 6 different Christmas characters which make a fun chocolate holder.

In the past couple of months I have shared the Santa, Reindeer, Penguin and Snowman versions of this collection. I plan to use these to make gift tags for close friends and family this year.

Today I am sharing 3 'gift tags' I created using the Gerry the Gingerbread die set. For the previous gift tags I made I used chocolates in the belly, however as I live in Australia and it is the middle of summer at Christmas, I have decided to use Chupa Chups instead. I won't have to worry about these melting under the Christmas tree and being a big mess when I hand over the present.

I added the stamps "to & from" to the back of the tag so I can add the name of whoever's present it is attached to.

Here is a side on view of the gift tag.

And finally the three gingerbread gift tags all lined up ready to be placed on a Christmas present.

Hello Gorgeous

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a birthday card I created for my granddaughter who celebrated her 11th birthday earlier this month. I would have been in big trouble, if I hadn't made this particular style of card for her as I knew she had been wanting one and her big brother got one earlier in the year for his birthday.

For the card I created a 3D Display Card using Made To Surprise by Sam Calcott's 3D Display Card and Stand die and Circular Frame Floral die sets.

As you can tell by the photo above, I added lights to the inner hollow portion of the card.

To decorate the card, I used the ephemera from Made To Surprise's Glitz and Glam Ephemera set. My granddaughter loves make up, so she will love this.

The "birthday love" sentiment is from Text{ures} Wildflower Collection.

I added the "11th" using Made To Surprise's Large Modern Numbers die set.

On the back of my card, I added a birthday sentiment from Made To Surprise's Showstoppers Sentiments stamp set. I also added a few more of the make up themed ephemera.

I added a blank white panel to the stand of my card, so I had a place to write a personal greeting.

After going to all that trouble making the 3D Display Card, I wanted to make something to carry it in and that would protect it. When Sam Calcott released the 3D Display and Stand Collection, she shared a tutorial on how to make an Envelope Gift Bag to fit the 3D Display Card in, so I decided to make one of those. I kept mine fairly simple, as a 13 year old boy isn't going to care too much about a gift bag. You can see Sam's video here

I used one of the toppers from the Glitz and Glam Paper Pad to add to the centre of the front of the bag. I also added the scalloped circle using the Circular Frame Floral die set.

Snowman Gift Tags

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing another gift tag I created using Creative Craft Products Sweet Christmas Collection. This collection consists of 6 different Christmas characters which make a fun chocolate holder.

In the past couple of months I have shared the Santa, Reindeer & Penguin versions of this collection. I plan to use these to make gift tags for close friends and family this year.

Today I am sharing 3 'gift tags' I created using the Frosty the Snowman die set.

And finally the three penguin gift tags all lined up ready to be placed on a Christmas present.

Fairy Wishes

Hi Crafty Friends,

For my card today, I am sharing a 5 x 7 inch Fairy themed card using an Edger die from Creative Expressions.

This edger die is called Fairy Door Edge. I die cut it from black cardstock and then layered it onto rainbow paper before adhering to a 5 x 7 white top folding card base.

For the sentiment I used a fairy themed sentiment from a Hero Arts My Monthly Hero December 2018 set.

For the inside of my card, I added another fairy themed sentiment this time from Scrappy Tails Craft.

I added two fairies to my card, which are the negative piece that comes when you did cut the edger die. The one on the right side I flipped, so that she would face the opposite direction. I. die cut the wings so I could add them to the fairies.

Gnomefuls of Love This Christmas

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a Christmas themed Slimline card I created recently. For my card I used Woodware Craft Collection's Christmas Gang stamp set, I just love this cute gnome image.

I framed the image using Whimsy Stamps' Slimline Twisty Frame die set.

I added the gnome themed Christmas sentiment to the bottom of the frame which is also from the stamp set.

For the inside of the card I stamped one of the names from the Christmas Gang Stamp set, I also stamped the arm for the other gnome at the opposite end of the stamp, so my gnome could have two arms.

The sentiment is from a Picket Fence Studios' "A Gnome Christmas stamp set".

I also added a few stamped snowflakes randomly around the white panel.
