Bonjour, Life is a Journey
Bonjour Crafty Friends,
Today I am sharing a Slimline card I created recently, using stamps and dies from Honey Bee Stamps.
To create the background scene, I used Honey Bee Stamps Slimline Borders die set to create the various hills above the the road. I used the Paris Skyline Scene Builder die set to add the Eiffel Tower and other Parisian buildings to the scene.
I used stamps from the Enjoy the Ride stamp set to add the bunnies on the moped and sentiments.
I added red clay hearts over the background to finish off the front of my card.

You Make Me So Happy
Hi Crafty Friends,
Today I am sharing another "faux embroidered" Slimline card I created using some of the new stamps and dies from Divinity Designs October release.
I liked the look for the faux embroidered card I created last week using floral papers, so I decided to pull out the new Slimline Cross Stitch Background die to create a Slimline version. I used papers from the Floral Favorites Slimline Paper Collection, die cutting one sheet with the cross stitch die. I then applied adhesive all over the back of the die cut panel and adhered it directly over another sheet of the same paper so that the pattern lined up perfectly to create the desired effect.
I layered this panel to a slimline card using the Slimline Rectangles and Slimline Card Base die sets.
For the sentiment I used the Embroidery Hoop Set and the Keep Me In Stitches stamp set to create the Embroidery Hoop sentiment layer.
For the inside of the card, I die cut another of the Slimline Cross Stitch Backgrounds, this time from white cardstock. I layered this to a purple rectangle using the Slimline Rectangles die set and adhered it to the inside of the card.
I created the sentiment panel using the Embroidery Hoop Set and Keep Me In Stitches stamp set.

You're the Best Polygon
Hi Crafty Friends,
Today I am sharing a slimline card I created recently.
To create the background of my card I used Honey Bee Stamps Polygon Thin Frames die, using the die to die cut shapes from 6 different colors. I then assembled each of the polygons, alternating the order of each of the pieces. I adhered the polygons to the front panel of a slimline card, trimming off any over hanging edges. I was able to used one polygon to add the half polygon panels along the top and bottom of the card.
I didn't want to cover up the background too much, so I kept this simple and just added the sentiment which is from Simon Says Stamp.

Pand-tastic
Hi Crafty Friends,
I have a Mini Slimline Pop-up card to share with you today.
To create my card I used the Botanicuts Bamboo die from The Greetery. I added four of the bamboos to the front panel of my card.
For the Mimi Slimline panels I used Waffle Flower Crafts Mini Slimline Layers die set.
I used one of the pandas from Art Impressions Pand-tastic stamp set.
For the inside of my card I created a pop-up card using the pop-up die from the Karen Burniston's Street Lantern Pop-up die set.
I created a panel similar to the one on the front of the card to use on the back panel of the inside of my card.
For the base panel, I added a rainbow paper. I also added a sentiment which is layered onto oval dies.

Milk and Cookies for Santa
As you can see by the photo at the top of this post, I stretched the sketch to create a Slimline card.
For the inside of the card, I added a thin strip of patterned paper along the right side of the card.

Sweet Christmas Wishes
Hi Crafty Friends,
Today I am sharing a Christmas themed Slimline card using new October release products from Divinity Designs.
To create the slimline portion of my card I used Divinity Designs Slimline Card Base, Slimline Pierced Layering Rectangles and Slimline Rectangles die set.
I used the new Slimline Petals Embossing Folder to dry emboss the red paper that had been die cut with the Slimline Rectangles die set.
The paper and decorative pieces (candy canes, sentiment etc) are from the Candy Cane Paper/Die Duos set. This set includes 4 candy cane themed patterned papers; 2 solid papers (red & green) Candy Cane Frames Papers and Candy Cane Sentiment Papers as well as dies that allow you to die cut all the frames and sentiments. There is also a refill pack available for this set in case you need more of the papers.
For the inside of the card I created a white slimline rectangle panel using the Slimline Pierced Rectangles die set. I then added the red curved red panel which was die cut using the Slimline Curvy Slopes die set and the Slimline Petals Embossing Folder.
I added the candy cane, frame and sentiment which are all from the Candy Cane Paper/Die Duos set.

Embroidered Happy Birthday
Hi Crafty Friends,
Today I am sharing a birthday card I created using products from the Divinity Designs October release. This month's release has two themes, one being a sewing/cross stitch theme, which is what I used for this card.
Cross Stitch or Embroidery Canvases come either blank or with a pattern printed on them which you use as a guide for your cross stitching or embroidery. I decided to go with the printed canvas look for my card today. To create this look, I used one of the floral papers from the Floral Favorites Slimline Paper Pack. You need two papers exactly the same. I die cut one of the papers using the A2 Cross Stitch Background that had a metal shim in the die cutting sandwich to allow all the tiny circle bits to come out. I then applied adhesive over the back of this panel and adhered it to the other paper so that the design matched up exactly. I then trimmed around the top panel.
I used the Matting Rectangle and A2 Landscape Card Base die sets to layer the background to my top folding card.
For the sentiment I used the Embroidery Hoop Set to die cut the hoop and the circle panel for the sentiment. I used the birthday sentiment included in the Keep Me In Stitches stamp set to add the sentiment.
To finish the card I added the silver screw to the top of the embroidery hoop and the needle under the sentiment to which I added some yarn.

Happy Birthday To You
Hi Crafty Friends,
Today I am sharing a birthday themed Mini Slimline card I created recently.
To create the background of my card I used Concord & 9th's Birthday Basic Turnabout stamp set. As the background panel, was a little shorter than the size of a Mini Slimline card I added a border to the top of the card leaving some white space at the top.
I used the dies from the coordinating die set to add the balloon.
Along the top of the background panel I added a border using Scrapbook.com's Slim Borders die set.
Here is one last photo of the inside of my card, taken at a different angle.
