Sitting with a Bear!

I like doing a sketch challenge on Saturday mornings so this morning I headed over to Taylor's blog ... Taylored Expressions to get her sketch to play with. Today I decided to use another of those cute Sweet Ebony stamps from Sugar Nellie ... one day I might do Taylor's sketch challenge and actually use one of the many cupcake stamps I own LOL ... but for today they were not calling out as loudly as this image was haha!

The girl was stamped onto white card and then attached to the folded blue card .... I decided to add the 2 thin brown stripes to each side as I felt it needed something else when I had finished my card and they seems to be what it needed.

The scallops of my awning were created using my corner rounder with the guide removed ... I used a small hole punch to create the holes in each of the scallops ... this was then attached to my card using tape at the top part and foam tape along the bottom so that is is slightly raised and looks more like an awning.

I added the brown ribbon to the lower portion of my card and also added the 3 rows of paper piercing along the bottom right edge ... the middle row is extended slightly. I added the birthday greeting to the bottom left of the card .

Recipe:
Stamps: Sweet Ebony sitting With Bear - Sugar Nellie; Sentiment - Gina K
Paper: White; Brocade Blue & Chocolate Chip - SU; DP - Unknown
Other: Black Ink; Brocade Blue SU Ink; Paper Piercing Mat & Tool; Corner Rounder; Brown Grosgrain Ribbon; Circle Punches; Hole Punch; Foam Tape.

Frances, what do you use to colour in the skin tone? Could you please explain how you colour in your images, and what you use? Thanks!
