Hot Diggity Dog

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Lois Bak our challenge hostess for the month, continues to issue the challenges.

Apparently yesterday (21st July) was National Hot Dog Day, so include this national treasure on your card. If you don’t have a hot dog image, you can use any kind of fast food item.

For my card today I pulled out a large Hot Dog stamp I was given about 20 years ago. The stamp is designed by Yvonne Albritton.

I created a Slimline card, using slimline dies from Picket Fence Studios. The sentiment is part of a sentiment stamp by DRS Designs.

For the inside of the card I created a pop-up card using Karen Burniston's Mini Pops Pop Up die set. I added another of the hot dogs that I used on the front of the card. The sentiment on the hot dog is the other part of the sentiment on the front of the card.

Along the edges of the card I used a Slimline die from Dare 2B Artzy.

The sentiment on the base of the card is from a Hello Bluebird stamp set.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Oh course you were able to use a fabulous stamp from 20 years ago and make it shine in 2021! THis is superb! LOVE the paper, too :)

Rubber just really never goes out of style does it? I love the way you used this older stamp (which is so perfect in all the details) and coupled with that cute gingham and the new slimline design---everything old is new again!

Just the way I like my hot dogs: with only mustard on a bun!! Super cute card, Frances!!

What a great hot dog stamp, and I love the sentiment! You know, the only thing on which I like mustard is a hot dog -- with a bit of sauerkraut as well!
