Now not much of a big deal I guess stamping in your PJ's esp for you guys in the Northern Hemisphere cause it is night time there ... but it here is mid morning hahaha so of course I have to wear my PJ's too .... they are owl PJ's so I don't mind! Actually sometimes I get so engrossed in what I am stamping I do forget to get dressed until that card is made so really it isn't a great sacrifice I am making!
One of the challenges today is one I am hosting ....
Star Light Star bright,
The first star I see tonight,
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.
Create a card which includes a star/stars .... you can use your stamps star punches; DP; star brads ... whatever you wish.
I made two cards for this challenge ... the first one is another twistaflex card ... I have had fun making these. I also had fun playing with the new Riley stamps by Hanna Stamps .... which are also being released tonight .... it has been so hard keeping this a secret for the last few weeks cause I love the new Riley stamps ... there are 20 new ones plus the new "words Riley would say" set and they are so much fun!!!!!!! I will have a few more cards that I made for the challenges which I will share with you all this week!
Here is a close up of the front of my card ... the star was created using my circut.
Recipe:
Stamps: Cowboy Riley - Hanna Stamps; Sentiment - The Cat's Pajama's; Wire - Lucy's Stamps
Paper: White; Black; Cranberry Crisp - SU; DP - Basic Grey
Other: Black Ink; Real Rust SU Ink; George Cricut Cartridge; Black Pearls; Black Grosgrain Ribbon
Here is my second card for this challenge ... using the new Baby Riley ... isn't he/she adorable. I made mine a boy card for the simple reason that I only needed the 3 stars to spell out the word "Boy" ... this was actually a sketch I found online ... unfortunately I forgot to write down where I got this one from ... so if this is yours or you know please leave a comment so I can edit this to give proper credit!
I used the star wheel to create the background for this card and punched out 3 stars to use for the word "BOY"
The centre panel behind the circles was created using the baby cuttlebug embossing folder.
Recipe:
Stamps: Baby Riley - Hanna Stamps; Star Wheel - SU
Paper: White; Bashful Blue & Brilliant Blue - SU
Other: Black Ink; Bashful Blue SU Ink; Circle Nestabilities; Baby Cuttlebug Embossing Folder; Bashful Blue & Brocade Blue SU Grosgrain Ribbon; Star Punch; Rub On Letters; Foam Tape
