Throw One On The Barbie!

Yesterday I received this new set by H & M Stamps which is called "It's Picnic Time", so I just had to sit down and create this card last night so I could share it with you all today. This set and 2 others will be released this Sunday 25th May. "It's Picnic Time" contains 23 stamps which are food/picnic related. There are 9 fun sentiments/words that work well with the other stamps included in this set. I think this is a very useful set ... as you can see it includes a BBQ which is great for male cards & invitations etc. It would also be great for decorating recipes and cards for anyone who loves to cook.

My DH loves cooking BBQ's so that card will be perfect for him for his birthday or Father's Day I haven't decided which yet.

I also took the opportunity to play with Julee's Mojo Monday Sketch that can be found on her blog Poetic Artistry. There was an option for this sketch to use 3 different colors or patterns for the background panel ... I decided to stick with just 2 for this one. I used my paper piercing mat & tool to create 3 rows of paper piercing along the bottom of the card.

I will have another card to share with you later on in the week from one of the other new sets to be released this week .... in all there will be 3 new sets released.
