Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a card I created using stamps dies and papers from Divinity Designs.

To create my card base I used the A2 Landscape Card Base with Layer and Matting Rectangle die sets.

For the background layer I pulled out the Stitched Sunburst die set die cutting the die three times, once from white cardstock and two times from patterned paper using Pretty Pink Peonies paper pad. I used the white panel for the frame and then paper pieced the patterned paper pieces into the segments, alternating each one.

I created the two 3D roses using the Rolled Rose die set. I adhered the roses to the circle panel in the lower left hand corner of the card. I decorated the roses using leaves from the Bitty Blossoms die set and the Fancy Flourish die set.

The sentiment is one from the Magnolia stamp set which is part of the July 2021 Blessings Box kit.

As I had papers left for decorating the front of the card, I created the sunburst pattern for the inside of my card. I added another of the sentiments from the Stitched Sunburst stamp set.

You've Got Mail

For my card today I am sharing a Mini Slimline Card I created recently.

To create the Mini Slimline card I used Divinity Designs Mini Slimline Card Base; Mini Slimline Layering Rectangles; Mini Slimline Rectangles and Mini Slimline Scalloped Rectangles die set.

I used papers from the Landscapes Collection Paper Pad to die cut the sky portion of my card. I also used the Grass Hill and Grass Lawn die sets to die cut the grass for the bottom of the card.

I used the rabbits and letter box from the Happy Mail stamp set. The sentiments are also included in this stamp set which were die cut using the Sentiment Strips die set.

I kept the inside of the card simple by stamping the image again in black ink and adding two more sentiments.

 

Beautiful Day

Today I am sharing a Slimline card using stamps, dies and papers from Divinity Designs April 2021 Blessings Box.

I have only recently received this Blessings Box and I am having so much fun playing with the Paper/Die Duos sets included in the set. The set I am using for my card today is Beautiful Blooms Set 3, this set includes sheets of pre printed colored flowers and dies to die cut all the pieces.

To create my Slimline card I have used the Slimline Card Base; Slimline Bubbles Background and Slimline Scalloped Rectangles die set.

The sentiment is from the Magnolia stamp set included in the Blessings Box kit. I layered this sentiment using the Double Stitched Rectangles; Rectangles and Scalloped Rectangles die sets.

I adhered the flowers on either side of the sentiment panel.

For the inside of my card, I added a curvy border along the bottom of the card using the Slimline Curvy Slopes die set. I then adhered a few more of the flowers/leaves to the lower right hand side of the card.

I added another of the sentiments from the Magnolia stamp set which has been layered using the Sentiment Strips die set.

Super Birthday

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. As challenge hostess for the month I continue to issue the challenges.

Being the third Saturday of the month, it's time for a sketch challenge. This time around I created a Slimline sketch.

For my card today I decided to go with a super heroes theme, so I chose the colors red, blue and yellow.

I used Whimsy Stamps Slimline Stars Background die for the background of my card and yellowed glittered stars. The stars are the wide strip that is shown in the sketch, I didn't have yellow glitter cardstock, so I used white cardstock and then blended on yellow inks over the glitter cardstock.

I used Hero Arts Infinity Nesting Squares to create each of the three diamonds. The super hero dogs are from MFT Stamps Super Dogs stamp set.

The sentiment in the middle diamond is from a Sunny Studio Stamps Super Hero stamp set. 

For the inside of the card, I created a pop-up card. I created another star background using the Whimsy Stamps Background die I used on the front of the card. 

I created the cityscape pop up using Kat Scrappiness' Slimline Layered Cityscape die set, which I popped up using a simple box pop-up in several places along the fold of the card. This allowed for the different heights of the cityscape die cut.

I then added two more Super dogs to my background scene.

The blue panel on the base of the card was die cut using Picket Fence Studios Slimline Nested Rectangles die set.

I added the "Birthday Wishes" which is from Mama Elephant's Big Birthday Wishes die set, I then added a few red stars around the sentiment.

Today I am sharing a Slimline Card I created using one of the new Mixed Media Stencils from Divinity Designs July release.

To create my slimline card I used three of Divinity Designs Slimline dies ... Slimline Card Base; Slimline Rectangles and Slimline Circle Windows die sets.

One of the things I like about stencils is that you have a lot of different options to use them, and each way gives a brand new look. You can apply ink or paste through the stencil, even emboss with them to get the effect you would get with an embossing folder.

For the background of my card I used the Slimline Flower Burst Stencil to dry emboss onto my Slimline Circle Windows die cut. I then added Aquatini ink through the stencil using the new blending brushes also from Divinity Designs.

I added two butterflies to either side of the centre circle using the Butterfly Layering Combo die set.

The sentiment in the centre is from the Magnolia stamp set which is included in the April 2021 Blessings Box.

For the inside of my card I added a panel of cardstock along the bottom which is also dry embossed using the Slimline Flower Burst Stencil.

I added two sentiments from the Magnolia stamp set which is the same stamp set I used for the front of the card.

From The Whole Herd

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Lois Bak our challenge hostess for the month, continues to issue the challenges.

Apparently today is Cow Appreciation Day! So for our challenge this week we are to include some kind of farm animal (cow or otherwise) on your card. 

For my card today I created a Slimline Card using Slimline dies from Lawn Fawn. As you can see in the photo above I made a portrait style farm scene. I use the Cloud Builder Stencil from Pinkfresh Studio and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide inks to create the clouds on then blue cardstock base.

The fence along the top portion of the card, is a slimline die from Honey Bee Stamps slimline Horizon die set

I used dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs to create the farmer and cow. I added hay bales behind the farmer which is a stamp from Trinity Stamps.

The sun at the top right hand corner was created using Hero Arts Infinity Circles die set.

To finish off the card I added a sentiment which is from Sugar Pea Designs Barn to be Wild stamp set.

For the inside of the card I created a pop-up card using Karen Burniston's Katherine Label Pop-up die set. I added a sentiment to the pop-up which is from MFT Stamps The Whole Herd stamp set.

Along the bottom of the card I added the grass which uses the Lawn Fawn Slimline Grassy Hillside Borders die set. I also added another go to the right side of the card.

Today I am sharing a Centre Step Card using stamps, dies and papers from Divinity Designs.

To create the Centre Step Card I used the A2 Centre Step Card die set, die cutting the base from white cardstock. For the layers of my card I used the Bold Blooms Slimline Paper Pad.

To decorate my card I used the poppies from the Beautiful Blooms Set 1 Paper/Die Duos set from the April 2021 Blessings Box set.

I layered the poppies using the Double Stitched Ovals and Ovals die sets. The sentiment is from the Sweet Friend stamp set which I die cut using the Sentiment Strips with Layers die set.

To finish off the card, I added three hearts from the Clay Heart Sprinkles.

 

For the inside of the card I added another sentiment from the Sweet Friends stamp set layering the sentiment using the Double Stitched Ovals and Ovals die set.

I added a few more of the poppies to the left side of the sentiment.

A Little Bird Told Me

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a fun Bird House Pop up Slimline Card that I created recently.

To create my card I used Scrappy Tails Bird House Pop Up Card die set along with their Slimline Woodgrain Background die set to give the bird house a woodgrain look.

Of course bird houses need birds, so I used an Impression Obsession bird die to add the bird to the lower left hand corner of the card.

I added two flowers to the card using flowers from Karen Burniston's Flower Pot Pop-up die set.

To create the pop up portion of the card I adhered the concertina panel to each side of the front panel which attaches to the back panel.

I added a sentiment from Stampendous' Tweet Chirps stamp set to the inside panel, so it can be seen through the window in the front of the card.

I added a panel to the back of the card using Waffle Flower's Mini Slimline Layering die set to add a birthday sentiment.

Friendship My Favorite Recipe

I have a fun Slimline card to share with you today.

To create my Slimline Card I used Trinity Stamps Slimline Stitched Card Panels and Windows die set. I die cut the window panel from white cardstock. I die cut a rectangle panel from white cardstock and then used Honey Bee Stamps Perfect Bricks Stencil to add the brick background which shows through the windows.

I used stamp sets from Lawn Fawn including Baked with Love and A Creature was Stirring to decorate my card.

The sentiments are from Honey Bee Stamps You Bake Me Happy stamp set.

For the inside of the card I used the Trinity Stamps slimline die set to die cut the stitched slimline rectangle panel.

I added images from Lawn Fawn's Baked with Love stamp set to add along the bottom of the card.

The sentiment is from Honey Bee Stamps Baked with Love stamp set.

 

Happy Birthday Mums

 Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I have a Slimline card I created recently using a Slimline die from Scrapbook.com. I used the die to die cut from pink cardstock, I then layered this over a dark pink cardstock panel. This panel was then layered onto a top folding slimline card that measures 3.75 inches x 8.75 inches.

For the sentiment I used the Happy Birthday Hot Foil stamp from Spellbinders Slimline Confetti Background Hot Foil Stamp set. I foiled the sentiment using gold foil.

I added pick jewels to the centre of all of the flowers.

For the inside of the card I die cut slimline rectangle panels using Slimline dies from Picket Fence Studios.

I die cut another of Scrapbook.com's Slim Mums die from cardstock and used this to stencil through a flower design on the white panel. 

I added a birthday sentiment to the centre of the card using a stamp from Spellbinder's Slimline Essential Sentiments stamp set.

You're the Bee's Knees

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. As challenge hostess for the month I continue to issue the challenges.

Apparently today is "Don't Step on A Bee Day" … good advice, don't you think. For our challenge this week, create a card that includes at least one bee on it.

For my card today I have created a Slimline Scenescape Card using the Slimline Scenescape Builder die set from Mama Elephant.

I used a stencil from Whimsy Stamps to create the honeycomb design on all the layering pieces.

I used the flowers and leaves from Honey Bee Stamps Flower Pot Card die set to add all the flowers into the scene. The stems of the flowers were created by die cutting green cardstock using the smallest die from the Mama Elephant Stamps Quick Stripes die set.

The bees are a freebie stamp I received from Honey Bee Stamps some years ago, these are all adhered to acetate stripes.

I used Pinkfresh Studios Cloud Builder die set to create the clouds on the background panel at the back of the card.

I added a sentiment on the front panel using a stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps.

For the back of the card I added another panel so I could add a sentiment and hand written greeting. The bees and sentiment are all from Honey Bee Stamps.
