It’s Story Time!

pp-bookmark-2-wm

Hi everyone!

It’s Tuesday, which means I have another Paper Pretties project to share with you all today.

This week the Paper Pretties weekly challenge that Danielle organises each week is Anything But A Card. Anything goes …. as long as it is not a card! Bring on Boxes, altered items, scrapbook pages, bookmarks or any other non card item that catches your fancy.

I decided to create a bookmark and as I have never created a corner bookmark before I thought that would be something fun to do … this was lots of fun to create.

I used the new “StoryTime Sophia” this will be the August SOTM set for Paper Pretties .... Want to know what the Stamp of the Month Club is? Basically, it is a hassle free, monthly subscription that will have one Sophia a month arriving in your mailbox!! You can find more details here.

EDIT: A number of you have asked for directions on how to create this bookmark ..... I found the instructions for this originally on Barb Mullikin's blog .... Stampin' IS my job! Hope you have fun creating!

PP-bookmark-wmHere is a photo showing my bookmark on a book …. I will definitely be making more of these in the future.

How to Enter: make your project that is Anything But a Card using any Paper Pretties stamp set(s). Upload the card to the Paper Pretties gallery. Please include it in the Weekly Challenges category and use keyword PWC61.

Deadline: midnight on Wednesday, July 22nd.

Prize: $5.00 coupon to the Paper Pretties Boutique. The winner will be randomly selected from among the qualifying entrants and announced after the contest has ended.

Looking forward to seeing your takes on the challenge!

Recipe:

Do you have a pattern for this type of bookmark? I have never seen anyone like this kind.I think these would make cute gifts along with a friend's favorite book!
