Hi everyone!

It is Elzybells challenge time over on the Elzybells Art Stamps blog. This week the challenge was to use buttons and bling on our cards.

I used “Knight & Princess” and the sentiment from the “A Fairytale Ending” set to create my card. I used the Spellbinders scallop frame die to create the base of my card. I added bling to the top of the princesses hat and also for buttons for  her top. Of course it is easy to see my button on the top right hand side of my card.

Summer Fun!

pp-summer-fun-wm

Hi again

I am back again tonight with another card to share with you this time for this week’s Pretties Wednesday challenge.

Two week’s ago Jodi Collins decided to go SO easy on the Pretties with her challenge! Her challenge is to make a card and use your very FAVORITE embellishment on it...and then tell us why it is your favorite! Easy and fun right? :)

Ok not too hard for sure hehe … thanks Jodi *smile*. Well I have a few favorite embellishments but I only used one of them on my card today …. as you can see it is ribbon. I also used my scorpal to add some scored lines on either side of my ribbon. Now I am supposed to say why it is my favorite …. hmmmmm ….. just cause it is LOL!

I used Paper Pretties “Make A Splash” and the new “Summer Fun” set which is an add on set to Make A Splash to create my card. The Summer Fun set is one of the new sets that will be released this coming Saturday 1st August. It includes this fun pool, ball, various other images and a variety of different sentiments too …. perfect for Make a Splash Sophia!

Don't forget to check out the other Design Teams blogs to see there creations this week.

Pink Elephant Sketch Challenge!

PE-Messy-Rabbit-wm

Hi again!

I am back again today, this time with my cards for this week’s Pink Elephant challenge. This week the challenge was a sketch challenge and the design team were also using stamps from Joanna Sheen.

I couldn’t stop at just one card this week as I couldn’t decide which stamp set to use  so I decided to use both hehe.

My first card using the party set from the Messy Rabbit range …. these are just sooooo adorable.  I did substitute the sentiment for another sentiment I had as I didn’t want it to be a party card.

PE-Dr-Lofty-wm

My second card today uses Dr Lofty from the Lofty & Co range … again these are just super adorable!!!!!!!! Both cards follow this week’s Pink Elephant Sketch which you can see below.

Give Peace A Chance!

ccee-peace-wm

Good morning everyone!

I don’t know about you but right now I have the John Lennon song “Give Peace a Chance” singing in my head….. All we are saying is give peace a chance! Here is a link to it on You Tube if you are interested in listening to it.

Ok now onto my card. Well as you know Mondays mean challenge time with my CCEE Stamper friends. This week Dawn the challenge hostess for this month sent us all some Designer Paper by Heidi Grace Designs(see below) and a brad to create our cards … just love that floral DP and the colors.

ccee supplies As soon as I received my parcel I knew exactly what my layout would be cause it more or less just fell in place there … I even took a photo of it like that JUST in case I forgot cause I knew it would be a few weeks before I got around to making my card.

The image I used here is Hope & Grace Peace, by The Greeting Farm! I wanted to also include a Peace sentiment so after rummaging around my stash I found this one from Alota Rubber Stamps … It didn’t quite fit into the oval punch but with a little masking and a stamp positioner I got it to fit. I added the one brad to the centre of my flower.

Don’t forget to check out the rest of our cards over on our CCEE Stampers blog which goes live at 12.00 AM.

Here is the solutions for the last rebus I posted a couple of weeks ago, which was “F Words”

  • Fool
  • Fundamental

Firemen Riley!

firetruck3-wmHi everyone!

Just look at Riley …. he is a fireman now …. isn’t he just adorable. He is busy around the town putting out all those fires. This is the latest of the Riley images that is to be released by Hanna Stamps any day now.

As soon as I saw this Riley I knew that I just HAD to make another truck similar to the one I made a couple of weeks ago which you can see in this post. Of course this time I turned it into a Fire Trucks …. I will probably give this to my DH as he collects Fire Trucks. I originally found the template to create these trucks at PCP here.

firetruck2-wm This weekend on SCS the Dirty Dozen Fan Club is holding here annual DTGD challenges. Tracy’s (LodiChick) challenge was to make creative packaging using premade or invented boxes and bags.

Well this fire truck is actually a box … there is a little box that goes in from the bottom of the truck …. so of course I am using this for the challenge hehe!

Firetruck-wm

The standing Fireman Riley is freestanding … I had planned on attaching him to the truck but I decided I like him better freestanding so he can be placed anywhere near the fire truck. I used only part of the image to create the fireman who is driving the fire truck. And no he isn’t on the wrong side …. he is driving an Aussie fire truck LOL

Recipe:

Stamps: Fireman Riley - Hanna Stamps

Paper: White; Black; Real Red – SU

Other: Black Ink; Circle Punch; Key Tag Punch; Silver Brads; Gem Brads; Distressed Stripe Cuttlebug Embossing Folder; Black Alphabet Stickers; White Line Stickers; Foam Tape; Copics

Lazy Days Of Summer!

Elzy-Shells-wm

Hi Everyone,

It is release day over on Elzybells Art Stamps, so I have one more sneak peek to share with you today.

This time round I am using a set called Life’s A Beach. This set is a mixture of solid and outline images of the same shape, various types of shells, jelly fish etc, sentiments and a few other smaller images. You can use either just the solid image or the outline image or as I did on my card today you can use the two together.  Basically it is 2 step stamping.

First up I stamped all my solid shells over my white card using baja breeze ink and then I went back over the solid image with it’s outline counterpart using blue bayou.

Once I had stamped all my images I ruled my lines to create the Modern Grid Technique …. I seem to be using this particular technique a fair bit of late.

Don’t forget that the rest of the Elzybells design team will also have some sneak peeks to share with you today so check them out too … you can find the list of names on my side bar.

Recipe:

Stamps: Life’s A Beach – Elzybells Art Stamps
